Manna for Your Morning

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority —   Psalm 8:3-6 (NLT) Our heavenly Father and Creator of the universe, is mindful of us. Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us. Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me. (Psalm 139:17-18 TPT) Never think for one moment, our ever-present God has forgotten about you. He is working all things together for your good.

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them… — Genesis 1:27-28 (NLT)  Genesis 1:28 tells us the first thing on God’s heart after He brought human beings into existence was to bless us. The very fact that He created us, shows us that God had us on His mind. His thoughts of us are so great they cannot be numbered. (Psalm 139:17). He created us to enjoy a rich and deep love relationship with Him, one of continual fellowship. The best indicator of love is a desire to spend time with that person. God didn’t just put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and forget about them. Genesis 3:8, says He was walking in the garden in the cool of the day. God didn’t bring you into this world to forget about you. He wants a daily walk with you too. Let us nurture our relationship with the Lord. Make Him the number one priority in your life. It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him. — Hebrews 11:6 (MSG) Know that God cares more than enough to respond to every person who seeks Him. In Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV) the LORD says, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” In Psalm 8:4 David asks, “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” God has made us a little lower than the angels and crowned us with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:5). He cares enough to call us out of darkness and into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9). God cares so much, He accepted us and adopted us into His family. He gave us the right to be called children of God. As a loving parent, He watches over us and provides for all our needs. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he definitely cares about you! In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. — Genesis 5:1b-2 (NKJV) Guess what? If you belong to the human race, you are blessed by God! When God created human beings, He blessed the whole human race. Psalm 144:3 says, LORD, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him? He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). No matter what lies the enemy tells you, remember that God loves you and He is working everything together for good! (Romans 8:28) Let us count our blessings, starting with the fact that we woke up this morning. Amen!

They were more concerned about what people thought of them than about what God thought of them. — John 12:42-43 (GW) Are you trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? What our heavenly Father thinks of us, is of utmost importance. May we never be more concerned about what people think about us than what God thinks about us. To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness (Ecclesiastes 2:26).
