You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.” — James 1:22-24 (NLT) In Luke 11:28 (AMP), Yeshua said, “…blessed (happy, favored by God) are those who hear the word of God and continually observe it.” …he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience]. (James 1:25 AMP) 

“Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God].” — Proverbs 29:18 (AMP) With no vision, the people perish. Why? Because they stray away from Yahweh and His principles. We are happy and blessed when we follow God’s Word. It provides vision for all of humanity. Proverbs 29:18 (NLT) says: “When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.” Forever, His word is settled in heaven. (See Psalms 119:89 NKJV) His Word is truth. When you continue in His Word, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free from the lies of the enemy. Do not lean on your own insight and opinions. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! He who gives attention to the word will find good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. — Proverbs 16:20 (NASB1995) Every word of God proves true. (See Proverbs 30:5 NLT) Let us regularly turn our attention to the Word of God, and let it renew our minds from the programming of this world. For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. (Hebrews 4:12 NLT) Don’t just listen to the Word, heed what it says. James 1:22 (AMP) says: But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]. In John 8:31 (AMP), Yeshua says:  “ If you abide in My word [continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you are truly My disciples. ”

“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, but shall not find it. — Amos 8:11-12 (NKJV) Instead of a constant stream of the negative news, let us diligently seek the Word of the LORD. May we treasure it in our hearts, that we may not sin against Yahweh. (See Psalm 119:11) The word of the LORD is very pure and proven. (See Psalm 119:140, 18:30). Forever, His Word is settled in heaven. (See Psalm 119:89) His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. (Psalm 119:105) It will show us the way we are to go. His Word is truth (Psalm 119:142) and when you know the truth, the truth shall make you free. (See John 8:32) Amen. 

“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.” — Revelation 3:8 (NKJV)  Keep the Word of God and never deny His name. For He has magnified His word above all His name. (See Psalm 138:2 NKJV) The word of the LORD is tested, it is perfect, it is faultless. (See Psalm 18:30 AMP) Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. (Proverbs 30:5 NLT) In Isaiah 55:11 (AMP) the LORD says: “So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Let us meditate on His Word daily, and have ears to hear His Word. Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. — Ephesians 6:13-18 (MSG) When we clothe ourselves with the full armor of God, we are prepared and protected. Amen!

I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the LORD. — Lamentations 3:24-26 (NLT) Live in deep dependence on our heavenly Father, continually looking up to Him from Whom our help comes. Those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. The LORD is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him, to those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word].  (Lamentations 3:25 AMP) God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times. — Lamentations 3:25-27 (MSG)

You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. — Psalm 139:16 (NLT) Every moment of our lives matter because God took the time to record each day and lay our lives out moment by moment. He intentionally made all the delicate, inner parts of our bodies and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). He did this with purpose and His plan for our lives is good. Though our journey will take us through all kinds of seasons, we have a glorious destiny awaiting us. May we seek His will, as we plan our days and our lives. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation.  (Psalm 33:11 NASB) Let us submit to the authority of God’s Word and be led by His Holy Spirit, in word and action, because every moment of life He gives us matter.

…all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. — Psalm 139:16 (MSG) God prepared all of our days and recorded them in His book, before we were even born. Each day is a gift from God, and is packaged with purpose and promise. The book of our lives, has many chapters and we go through many stages in life, but we have at least 3 things that are stable and constant. We have the Presence of God, His love for us and His Word. I am so thankful for the 55 years He has allowed me to live on this earth. No matter how old or how young you are, we can ALL praise God that our lives get better and better, as we allow His light to shine brighter and brighter in us and through us. Each one of us can see and reflect the glory of the Lord, as we are progressively being transformed into His image from one degree of glory to even more glory. Amen! Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going. Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light.” For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!  — Ephesians 5:8 (NLT)

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a good (encouraging) word makes it glad. — Proverbs 12:25 (AMP) If you are anxious about anything, God’s Word is has a good encouraging word just for you. Here a just a few: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. —1 John 1:9 (NKJV) He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him. —Luke 1:50 (NLT) The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. Following God’s Word keeps us on the right path, the path of life. If we were at home, I don’t think any of us would allow a robber to come in and just take what belongs to us and walk out the door. However, many people allow Satan to do just that. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. — John 10:10a (NKJV) The enemy's purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. He goes to and fro on the earth (Job 1:7). Proverbs 10:6 (NLT) says, the godly are showered with blessings…  Proverbs 10:6 (MSG) says it this way: blessings accrue on a good and honest life… In Matthew 5:6 (AMP), Jesus says, “Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, (Romans 10:12 NIV) Always put the true and living God first in your life and you will be blessed, not only in this life but also in the eternal life. “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” — Genesis 8:22 (NKJV) This Scripture speaks of three seasons. A season of planting seeds, a season of harvesting, or gathering in the fruit that has been produced. And in between those two seasons, there is the season called TIME. How long? Only God knows. Some call this a time of waiting, but there are still things to do while you wait. If you have planted seeds of faith, the seed must be watered by speaking God’s Word over it. We have to keep weeds of doubt from growing, by guarding our heart and our ears to negative worldly opinions. (If it's not the truth of God's Word, it's an opinion.) “ For if you embrace the truth, it will release more freedom into your lives. ”  — John 8:32 (TPT) The more we embrace the truth of God’s Word, the more freedom we will experience in our lives. The Passion Translation Footnotes read: The truth Jesus gives us releases us from the bondage of our past, the bondage of our sins, and the bondage of religion… To embrace the reality of Christ brings more freedom into your life. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. (John 8:36 NLT) Live free from shame, and guilt because the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).  Live free from fear and anxiety because there is no fear in love. His perfect love drives out fear (1 John 4:18). Live free from the word “can’t” because in Matthew 19:26, Jesus said “…with God all things are possible.”

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only...” — James‬ ‭1:22‬ ‭(NKJV) ‬‬ After we hear the Word, may we apply it to what we do and who we are. In Matthew 7:24 (MSG), Jesus says, “These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. A person’s anxiety will weigh him down, but an encouraging word makes him joyful. — Proverbs 12:25 (GW) God’s Word is the most encouraging Word of all. Philippians 4:6 (NKJV) tells us to be anxious for nothing. Instead of fretting, let us hide the Word of God in our hearts. (Psalm 119:11) His Word is practical and very powerful. It is the truth that stands forever. (Psalm 119:160) The Word is packed with promises. It is our comfort in affliction and it gives us life. (Psalm 119:50)  It revives our souls. (Psalm 119:25) Great peace have those who love His law, and nothing causes them to stumble. (Psalm 119:165) His Word gives us strength (Psalm 119:28). The entrance of His words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. (Psalm 119:130) His word is a lamp to guide our feet and a light for our path. (Psalm 119:105 NLT) It shows us the way to fulfill God’s purpose and good plan for our lives. Delight yourself in His statutes. (Psalm 119:16)

For we live by believing and not by seeing. — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT) GOD’S WORD Translation says: “Indeed, our lives are guided by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 GW). Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see. (Hebrews 11:1 GW). May our faith in God and in His Word guide our lives, because it is impossible to please God without faith. (Hebrews 11:6) May faith guide what we choose to think about, what we believe, what we say and all of our actions. Doubt and unbelief lead to anxiety, worry, and fear. Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises (Hebrews 6:12 NKJV). Live by believing. Believe that God loves you. Believe that He wants the best for you. Believe that all God’s promises in His Word are yes and amen, for you.
