“ So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. ” — Matthew 6:34 (NASB1995) There are two things we know about the troubles we face today. One, they are light and  two, they are momentary (brief and fleeting). Second Corinthians 4:17 (NASB ) says: our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison. You see, the short-lived pains of this life are creating for us an eternal glory that does not compare to anything we know here. (2 Corinthians 4:17 VOICE) For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NKJV) Walk by faith as you deal with today’s challenges, trusting YAHWEH to show you the way through each and every situation. Know this: my God will also fill every need you have according to His glorious riches in Jesus the Anointed, our Liberating King. (Philippians 4:19 VOICE)

You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth. — Psalm 71:20 (NLT) Yahweh is a God of restoration. For our momentary, light affliction, this passing trouble, is producing for us an eternal weight of glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (See 2 Corinthians 4:17) The Message Bible says: These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. (2 Corinthians 4:17)  Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be]. — 1 Peter 5:10 (AMP) We will endure some light momentary affliction and times of trouble, however, God will restore us, support us, and give us strength. He will place us on a firm foundation and build us up. Our heavenly Father blesses us with His favor and has called us to His everlasting presence through Jesus, the Anointed One. He endured the cross, disregarded its shame and is now seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. “... In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. ” — John 16:33 (NKJV)

So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. — 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (MSG) Do not lose heart and become discouraged. The difficult circumstances you are dealing with today are temporary, and they are producing for you a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! His unfolding grace is sufficient for you. He has provided everything you need to overcome today's challenges.

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. — Acts 20:24 (NKJV) Don’t be moved by the troubles that come your way. For our light and momentary afflictions won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (2 Corinthians 4:17) Continue to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7) Let's not just finish the race, but let us cross the finish line with joy. The joy of the LORD is your strength. Never let the enemy steal your joy.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. — 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NIV) Let us remember that the troubles we experience in this life, are light and momentary, when compared with the eternal glory they are producing for us. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever (2 Corinthians 4:18 MSG). We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) When troubles are pressing in on you from all sides, don't become discouraged, disappointed, or fearful. We may get knocked down, but we will get up again. Regardless of the external circumstances, God is with us and He has a plan. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (Galatians 6:9 NLT) For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV)

May the Master take you by the hand and lead you along the path of God’s love and Christ’s endurance. — 2 Thessalonians 3:5 (MSG) Let us walk hand in hand with the Father as He leads us along on the path of His love. May all we do and every word we speak reflect the love of God. His great love is unconditional and it never fails. Just as God first loved us, let us be the initiator of love in our relationships with others. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (1 Corinthians 13:7, NLT). God’s love is expressed in action. Duplicate His love. Christ endured the cross, for the joy that was set before Him. (Hebrews 12:2). May we endure temporary adversities and afflictions, knowing that God has a plan for us that is good, to give us a glorious future and a living hope. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV).

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong firm and steadfast. — 1 Peter 5:10 (NIV) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you (1 Peter 4:12 NLT). Look away from all the distractions and fix your eyes upon Jesus, the source of all our faith and hope. Persevere the struggles, and after you have suffered a little while, God will restore you and make you strong.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. — 2 Corinthians 4:17 (NIV) Our troubles are light, because they are momentary. They are temporary. Whatever you are going through today is a tiny speck on the face of the eternal time clock. This too shall pass. The Word assures us that no matter what we endure on this side of heaven, it cannot even begin to compare to our glorious future which will last forever. Here on earth we will have many trials and sorrows, but take heart, because Jesus overcame the world. (John 16:33) Hallelujah!

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. — 1 Peter 5:10 (NASB) Job 3:26 says, “I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest, for trouble comes.” In order to keep our hope alive, let us not focus on the fact that trouble comes, or even that it is here. Instead, zoom in on the fact that it also goes. (This too shall pass.) The Word says, the suffering is for a  “ little while …” After the suffering, we know God will perfect, strengthen and establish us. The Amplified version says, He will complete us and make us what we ought to be. Take comfort in knowing that God will use everything that happens in our lives to fulfill His awesome purpose and plan. Everything that happens is part of the process. Amen!

For the LORD saw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter; and whether bond or free, there was no helper for Israel. — 2 Kings 14:26 (NKJV) The Message Bible says, God was fully aware of the trouble in Israel, its bitterly hard times (2 Kings 14:26). God is also fully aware of the troubles and bitter affliction that you experience. Our heavenly Father has kept His eyes on you since you were being formed in your mother’s womb. And He wants you to know that our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NIV). As the eyes of the LORD are on you, fix your eyes on Jesus, because despite all these things we go through in this life, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us (Romans 8:37) enough to suffer and die for us.
