Manna for Your Morning

And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” — Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) When are we to be full of joy? First Thessalonians 5:16 (NLT)  tells us to ALWAYS be joyful. Consider every day God gives you as a sacred day to celebrate. It is a gift from above, coming down from the Father of lights. James 1:2-3 (NASB1995) says: Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.  So, do not be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength. He will turn your mourning into joyful dancing. He will take away your clothes of mourning and clothe you with joy, that you might sing praises to Him and not be silent. O LORD my God, let us give thanks to You forever! (See Psalms 30:11-12 NLT)

“This is the day which Yahweh has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalms 118:24 (LSB)  Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4 NASB) For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT) No matter what season you are going through, you can rejoice because Yahweh is with you, and He will bring you through. Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (See Psalms 139:16 NLT) So, He knows the plans He has for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place. — Psalms 31:7-8 (NLT)

Yours is the day, Yours also is the night; You have prepared the light and the sun. You have established all the boundaries of the earth; You have made summer and winter. — Psalm 74:16-17 (NASB1995) This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) God is Lord of heaven and earth. He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things. He determined our appointed times and the boundaries of our habitation. His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find Him—though he is not far from any one of us. (See Acts 17:24-27)  Trust in the living God, Who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let us give thanks to the LORD and sing praises to His name, the God Most High. Declare His lovingkindness in the morning and His faithfulness by night. (See Psalm 92:1-2) 

This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NLT) This is the day YAHWEH has made, and it is good. In Genesis 1:31, God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. In Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT), the LORD says, the plans He has for His people are for good and not for disaster. Knowing that all YAHWEH has made is good, we can rejoice and be glad in today. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength! (See Nehemiah 8:10 NLT) What enables us to keep our joy? By remembering all the good things the LORD has done for us, (see Psalm 103:2-5). By continually casting all of our cares and concerns on Him, (see 1 Peter 5:7). By trusting in YAHWEH and His goodness, and not relying on our own understanding. We can also keep our joy as we take note that joy does not depend on external conditions, but it comes from within, where the Presence of the LORD dwells. Just keep hoping and waiting on God, your Savior. For no matter what, I will still sing with praise, for living before his face is my saving grace! (Psalm 42:5 TPT) Look around you: Winter is over;  the winter rains are over, gone! Spring flowers are in blossom all over. The whole world’s a choir—and singing! (Song of Solomon 2:11-12 MSG) Sing out with songs of thanksgiving to the Lord! Let’s sing our praises with melodies overflowing! (Psalm 147:7 TPT)

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NASB) …our heart rejoices in Him, because we trust in His holy name. (Psalm 33:21) We can rejoice today because God is with us and nothing that happens today will catch Him by surprise. The LORD has already made a way for us. He only is my rock and my salvation; My fortress and my defense, I will not be shaken or discouraged. (Psalm 62:6 AMP)

Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! (Philippians 4:4 TPT) Do not let your joy be tied to temporary circumstances. (No Monday morning blues for you.) Our joy is to be based on our eternal God and the fact that He loves us and is always with us. James 1:2 (NASB) says to consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. (Romans 5:3 NLT) “Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” — Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NASB) Though the cherry trees don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen, though the apples are worm-eaten and the wheat fields stunted, though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, I’m singing joyful praise to God. I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God. Counting on God’s Rule to prevail, I take heart and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I’m king of the mountain! (Habakkuk 3:17-19 MSG) In other words, no matter how circumstances may appear at this present time, I’m choosing to rejoice and be glad in this day, that the LORD has given to me. We always have His Presence with us, and nothing is impossible with our great God!

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” — John 8:12 (NASB) You’re sons of Light, daughters of Day. We live under wide open skies and know where we stand. So let’s not sleepwalk through life like those others. Let’s keep our eyes open and be smart. People sleep at night and get drunk at night. But not us! Since we’re creatures of Day, let’s act like it. Walk out into the daylight sober, dressed up in faith, love, and the hope of salvation. (1 Thessalonians 5:5-8 MSG) If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7) Come. Let us walk, live and play in the light of the LORD!

This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.  — Psalm 118:24 (NKJV) This day has already been written in God’s book for your life. (Psalm 139:16) The fact that He woke you up this morning, means He has something for you to do today, places for you to go and people you are to meet. We are here for such a time as this. If you’re living your life in Christ, you are power-packed, strengthened and equipped to accomplish all that He has planned for you today. As you go, let His love and light shine through you, in action and in speech, and others will be drawn unto Jesus, our mighty Savior. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself. (Jeremiah 31:3)

(Psalm 139:16) Nothing that happens today will catch our heavenly Father by surprise. And He has prepared you and equipped you for such a time as this. t You are a chosen generation... (1 Peter 2:9). Rejoice and be glad as you move onward and forward in all that God has called you to. Blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. (Jeremiah 17:7 NLT)

The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. — Psalm 121:5-6 (NKJV) The One who keeps you will not slumber or sleep. He watches over you and stands beside you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even the darkness does not hide you from Him. (Psalm 139:12) The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. (Psalm 121:7-8 NASB) Look up to the mountains— does your help come from there? Your help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1-2) Look to the LORD, your Keeper. He is our help and our only hope. Amen.

Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (Psalm 139:16 NLT) Nothing that has happened in your life took Him by surprise. He has you here for such a time as this. The LORD is good, and He does good; (Psalm 119:68 NKJV). So we can rejoice, knowing that He has a plan for our lives and His plan is good. He woke you up this morning because He has a purpose and a destiny for you to fulfill today. Let go of the past, stop fretting the future and embrace the wonder of today.

The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. — Proverbs 4:18 (NIV) The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” (Psalm 32:8 NLT). The path the Lord has for you leads to everlasting life and it grows brighter and brighter. Behind you are the days of doom and gloom. His light shines in the darkness. God has good things to come. Your future in God glows brighter each day. Keep taking the steps of faith, as He leads, and you will reach the glorious destination God has for you.

This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NKJV) We can be full of joy today, no matter what happens, because this day is written in His Book. And no matter what comes our way today, the LORD has already made a way for us. Glory Hallelujah! Every day He wakes us up and gives us new mercies, is a day to rejoice and be glad. Delight yourself in His Presence, knowing that He is with you, every step of the way. He will never leave you or forsake you.

Moreover You led them by day with a cloudy pillar, and by night with a pillar of fire, to give them light on the road which they should travel. — Nehemiah 9:12 (NKJV) As the Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, God led them with a cloud by day and a pillar of fire at night. Today, many of us rely heavily on our GPS to get where we need to go. However, God’s Positioning System (GPS) is His Holy Spirit within us. As we listen to God’s inner promptings, He will show us the way we are to take, to fulfill His plan and purpose for our lives. Sometimes our electronic GPS gives directions a little to late and we end up going the wrong way. But God always leads us in the right direction. He gets us in the right position and proper place at the perfect time. As we follow Him we will surely reach our desired destination.

But friends, you’re not in the dark, so how could you be taken off guard by any of this? You’re sons of Light, daughters of Day. We live under wide open skies and know where we stand. So let’s not sleepwalk through life like those others. Let’s keep our eyes open and be smart. People sleep at night and get drunk at night. But not us! Since we’re creatures of Day, let’s act like it. Walk out into the daylight sober, dressed up in faith, love, and the hope of salvation. —1 Thessalonians 5:4-8 (MSG) Let’s not sleepwalk through life. Be awake, and alert to the schemes of the enemy. Take your stand on the strong foundation and walk in love and faith. When we submit to God and His Word, we are able to resist the devil and he will flee.

This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NKJV) Let us rejoice in the goodness of God, that He allowed us to see another day. We can rejoice in the fact that God is with us, and no matter what challenges arise today, we know the He will bring us through it. With God on our side, we cannot fail. So, don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT). Amen!

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, — Luke 18:1 (NKJV) And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily…” Luke 18:7-8a (NKJV). But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:8-9 NIV). God is working for our good, something that is going to last forever. As you continue to pray, be encouraged and keep your hope alive.

Jesus said to him, No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back [to the things behind] is fit for the kingdom of God. — Luke 9:62 (AMP) “The reason you’re not living the life you want to live is because you’re not dying to the life you used to have.” —Pastor Jeff Osborne. Let us pay attention to what God is doing today. You have come to far to go back. In the Message version of Luke 9:62, Jesus says, “No procrastination. No backward looks. You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.” Press on! The righteous will move onward and forward, and those with pure hearts will become stronger and stronger (Job 17:9 NLT).
