I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness.” — John 12:44-46 (AMP) Believe in Jesus as Savior and anchor your hope in Him. Followers of Christ shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. (See John 8:12) The Father has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (See Colossians 1:12-13) Let us cast off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light. In Luke 2:32 (NLT), Simeon said: Jesus is a light to reveal God to the nations, and he is the glory of your people Israel!” Isaiah 42:6 says: He will be a light to guide the nations. A light shows us the way to go and also reveals things we need to avoid. We were formerly in the darkness, but now we are Light in the Lord.
