“I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!” — Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1 NKJV) “The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.” (Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭5, 7‬ ‭NLT‬‬) As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? (Psalms 18:30-31 NKJV) Trust and rely on Yahweh with all your heart, at all times.

The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, — Acts 17:24-26 (NASB1995) Yahweh gives to ALL people. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. (Psalm 121:5-8 NLT) Lift up your eyes. 'Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. — Micah 7:7 (NLT) I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1-2 NLT) Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires. (Psalm 37:1-4 NLT)

So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. — Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. (Psalm 121:1-3 NKJV) So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. — Colossians 3:2 (NKJV)

“ And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven. ” — Matthew 16:19 (MSG) Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (Matthew 6:33 NLT) In Jesus, we have complete and free access to God’s kingdom. There are no barriers between us and our heavenly Father. Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. — Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV) Sometimes we put a lot of time and energy into trying to figure stuff out on our own. As we take our eyes off of the situation or the person, and put them on the LORD, He will reveal things to us at the proper time and in His way. As we invest our time and energy into seeking His face, He shows us the solution. He gives us the answer to the problem. He exposes the root cause of an issue. As we look to Him, He will take care of ALL that concerns us. He is The Fixer. He makes old things new. He brings dead things back to life. He mends broken hearts and fractured relationships. He lifts up the heads that are beat down. Always look to Him!

“Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon his God.” — Isaiah 50:10 (NKJV) In times of darkness and confusion, put your trust in the name of the LORD. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:8) David confronted his enemy, Goliath, in the name of the LORD of hosts (1 Samuel 17:45) and experienced a great victory for God’s people. Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved (Joel 2:32). He gives light to those who sit in darkness. The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10 NKJV) God’s name is a place of protection. (Proverbs 18:10a MSG)  Let us trust in the mighty name of the LORD and rely upon our God. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20:7)

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. — Psalm 9:9-10 (NKJV) Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:8) His name endures forever. The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10). His name is above any other name. It carries more weight than any other name. There is wonder working power in the name of the LORD. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and forevermore! From the rising of the sun to its going down the LORD’s name is to be praised. (Psalm 113:2-3) Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20:7 AMP)

Take your eyes off of earthly circumstances and put them on the LORD, our helper. When we see things from His perspective, our mountains will appear as molehills and the giants before us will dwarf in comparison to our great God. When we see things from His perspective we realize what seems impossible, is possible. With God all things are possible! My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.  (Psalm 5:3 NKJV)

Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD their God. He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever. — Psalm 146:5-6 (NIV) He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners. The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are weighed down. The LORD loves the godly. The LORD protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked. The LORD will reign forever. He will be your God, O Jerusalem, throughout the generations. (Psalm 146:7-10 NLT) No matter how circumstances may appear, remember that our sovereign God still reigns. Keep your hope in Him and you will not be disappointed. His plans and purpose will be accomplished. We don't know what the future holds but we can trust the One who does.

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” — Joshua 24:15 (NKJV) I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; (Deuteronomy 30:19 NKJV). We have life and death, blessing and cursing set before us on a daily basis. But like a teacher who gives you the correct answer to the test, God instructs us to “ Choose Life! ” Don’t live by chance or happenstance. The quality of our lives is a matter of choice. Making the right choice is not a one time event. We are faced with choices every moment of the day. Let us continually choose God, His will and His Way. Make wise decisions that lead to life and blessing. So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no...

Every tool of the enemy is designed to get us to take our eyes off the LORD. He uses fear, discouragement, condemnation and shame to draw our attention away from the God who loves us, forgives us and empowers us to do all things. Keep your eyes on the LORD and rely on Him, in all situations. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces (Psalm 34:5 NLT).

I look to you for help, O Sovereign LORD. You are my refuge... — Psalm 141:8 (NLT) Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there (Psalm 146:3 NLT). God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1 NLT). With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes (Psalm 60:12 NLT). For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. — Isaiah 41:13 (NIV) Are you giving more attention to your circumstances than your mighty God? Look up, to the source of your help. I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2 NIV). The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time (Psalm 34:19 NLT).

“Am I a God near at hand,” says the LORD, “And not a God afar off?” — Jeremiah 23:23 (NKJV) Though He fills heaven and earth, our heavenly Father is near. He carries us close to His heart. We can do all things through Him who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13 NASB). ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10 NASB)

Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. — Psalm 124:8 (NIV) I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber (Psalm 121:1-3 NIV). God is a very present help. He never sleeps nor does He go on vacation. His care is constant. You will never see an “out of the office” sign posted on the doors of heaven. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever (Psalm 121:8 NLT).

“O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” — 2 Chronicles 20:12 (NKJV) When you have something coming against you and you don’t know what to do, fix your eyes upon God. Lift up your eyes to the hills— from whence comes your help? Our help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2). “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD (Jeremiah 17:7).

He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. — Psalm 40:2 (NLT) If your life seems to be in the pit, look up! God is with you, and He is mighty to save. He is a shield for you, your glory and the One who lifts up your head (Psalm 3:3 NKJV). Declare Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV), “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. — Isaiah 40:26 (NIV) I will lift up my eyes to the hills— from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2 NKJV). Lift up your eyes. Your help comes from the LORD and nothing is impossible with Him. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom (Isaiah 40:28 NIV).
