Everyone who believes [with a deep, abiding trust in the fact] that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) is born of God [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose], and everyone who loves the Father also loves the child born of Him. — 1 John 5:1 (AMP) See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. (1 John 3:1 NLT) We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one. (1 John 5:19 NLT) Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. (1 John 2:15 NLT) “Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts.” — 1 John 5:21 (NLT)

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. — 1 John 4:10 (NKJV) And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. (1 John 4:14 NKJV) For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:17 AMP) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. (See John 10:10a) However, 1 John 3:8 (NKJV) says: The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. Yeshua came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (See John 10:10b AMP) For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. (1 John 5:4 AMP) He is our only hope. (See John 6:68 ...

But Jesus loudly declared, “The one who believes and trusts in Me does not believe [only] in Me but [also believes] in Him who sent Me. And whoever sees Me sees the One who sent Me. I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness.” — John 12:44-46 (AMP) Believe in Jesus as Savior and anchor your hope in Him. Followers of Christ shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. (See John 8:12) The Father has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (See Colossians 1:12-13) Let us cast off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light. (See Romans 13:12) “ The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light, and those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, upon them a Light dawned .” — Matthew 4:16 (NASB1995)

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. — Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV) In Matthew 1:23, the Lord spoke through the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name IMMANUEL,” which translated means, “GOD WITH US.” For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:16-17 NASB1995) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:12-13 NASB1995) Believe and trust in Yahusha (original Hebrew) as the Savior of your soul. He is the divine portrait, the true likeness of the invisible God, and the firstborn heir of all creation. He is the Head of his body, which is the church. And since he is the beginning and the firstborn heir in resurrection, he is the most exalted One, holding first place in everything. — Colossians 1:15, 18 (TPT) Christ is to occupy first place in everything. Today, as we celebrate the birth of JESUS, may He be at the forefront of all our festivities. Instead of focusing on the material gifts that will not last, may it be His everlasting Presence that we hold near and dear in our hearts. May the eternal and ever-flowing love of Jesus consume us all, not only today, but throughout the year. Let us be mindful of Jesus and all that He has done to rescue, redeem, and restore humanity.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.” — Matthew 2:1-2 (NLT) The wise men came to Jesus to worship Him. They did not come to see what they could get from Him, instead they bowed down in humility and worshiped Him in adoration. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. (See Matthew 2:11) May we come to the throne of grace and worship Christ each and every day, God gives us breath. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen. — Jude 25 (NLT)

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. — James 1:17 (NLT) Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above. And JESUS is the most perfect gift of all. Receive Him. Father God has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. (1 John 4:14 TPT) God sent His only Son into the world so that we could find true life through Him (1 John 4:9 VOICE). Jesus is everything we need. He is the bread of life; he who comes to Him will not hunger, and he who believes in Him will never thirst (John 6:35). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He is Wonderful Counselor. You can talk to Him 24 hours a day, every day. He is Mighty God. There is no problem too difficult for Him. He is an Everlasting Father. His love for us never fails. He always watches over and takes care of His children. Let us celebrate King Jesus, Savior of the world!

Christmas is one word that embodies so many things. It conjures up different images and emotions for each one of us. Reflecting on what 3 words I would use to say what Christmas is all about. #1 CHRIST It all starts with the birth of Jesus, the long awaited Messiah. John 1:41 says, Andrew first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ). May we find Christ in every moment of our day. Jesus said, “ I am with you always, even to the end of the age. ” — Matthew 28:20b (NKJV) #2 LOVE  Christmas exemplifies the love God has for us. What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we’re called children of God! That’s who we really are. — 1 John 3:1a  (MSG) When we understand we are children of a God who is love, we know how we ought to flow... in LOVE. #3 GIVE  The most perfect gift God gave to us was Himself, in the form of Jesus (God with us). Jesus continually gave of Himself, healin...

Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. — Luke 2:17 (NKJV) Once the Shepherds saw Jesus, they made widely known what they had been told about Him. First, we have to take our eyes off of ourselves and our issues and put them on Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Once we see Jesus, we are to tell others about Him. Instead of telling how the enemy has harmed you, tell others about how Jesus has helped you. Tell them how He shined His light of love into your darkness, and changed your life forever. Report how He reached down and pulled you up out of that pit. Tell someone how He healed you when you were sick, how He gave you strength when you were weak and weary. Make widely known how He comforted you when you were mourning, and full of grief. Declare how He removed your loneliness by becoming your Friend and constant Companion. We overcome the enemy by the Word of our testimony (the words we speak). And they overcame him...

The angel said, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David’s town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master.” — Luke 2:10-11 (MSG) As the angel choir withdrew into heaven, the sheepherders talked it over. “Let’s get over to Bethlehem as fast as we can and see for ourselves what God has revealed to us.” (Luke 2:15 MSG). Just as the shepherds went to meet Jesus in person, we also need to get to know Jesus personally. Don’t settle for what others tell you about Him. Develop an intimate one-on-one relationship with Him. He is Messiah, the anointed One. Invite Him into your heart to be your Savior. Make Him the Master of your Life. When you experience a personal encounter with Jesus, He changes your life forever: from darkness to light, from death to life, from sick to healthy and whole, from defeat to victory, from pointless to purposeful, from discouragement to full of hope and joy.

So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. — Luke 2:15-18 (NKJV) Just as the shepherds went in haste to see Jesus, let us have a sense of urgency, not only to see Jesus, but to know Him personally. May we have a richer and deeper experience of His love and grace, each and every day.  And let’s introduce others to our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6 NIV). The LORD anointed Him to bring good news to the poor. He was sent to comfort the brokenhearted and to announce freedom to all captives, and pardon all prisoners. (Isaiah 61:1). Hallelujah! Enjoy your day as you celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. — Matthew 2:11 (NKJV) When the wise men found Jesus, they went into the house and worshiped Him. Don’t be an outsider, looking in. Eliminate the barriers and draw near to Jesus. Our heavenly Father adopted us and brought us into His family as His beloved children. Come in and worship the King of kings, and Lord of lords!

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. — Galatians 4:4-5 (NKJV) The fullness of time has already come. Now is the the time of salvation. Now is the time of deliverance. Jesus was sent to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound (Isaiah 61:1b). This Good News is to be proclaimed all over the world, to all people. JESUS is the greatest and most perfect gift anyone can receive!

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. — Luke 2:10-11 (NIV) The good news about Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, is a message that should fill everyone's heart with joy. Jesus was sent to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners (Isaiah 61:1). Our Lord and Savior came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly (John 10:10). That includes a healthy, prosperous life on this earth and for all eternity. Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day (Psalm 96:2). Hallelujah!

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11 (NKJV) Let’s not do Christmas today. May we BE Christmas, not just today, but each and every day God gives us breath. Be love . Be patient and kind . Let us be givers, like Jesus. Give forgiveness and grace . Embody the spirit of Christ. Always be filled with peace and joy . Merry Christmas!

Isaiah 9:6 (NKJ) After the shepherds saw Jesus, they went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen. Let us glorify and honor God for sending us His Son, our Savior. Jesus is a Wonderful Counselor, and His ear is always open to hear your voice. He is a Mighty God, who gives us the victory. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will reign forever and ever. Praise the Lord!

Luke 2:10-11 (NIV) Today we celebrate the birth of our Lord & Savior. The birth of Jesus is good news for all people, for everyone who calls on His name shall receive salvation. So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it where amazed at what the shepherds said to them. Luke 2:16-18 (NIV) "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."
