He Saves

Image
“She will give birth to a son; and you shall call His name Yeshua, for He will save His people from their sins.” — Matthew 1:21 (TLV) No matter where we are in life, Yeshua is all we need. Apart from Him we can do nothing. (See John 15:5) He is the answer to every problem. Call His name “Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” (See Matthew 1:23) And in Matthew 28:20, He promises to be with us always, even to the end of the age.” He is our Rock and our Redeemer. He is the great Physician, our Healer. He is the good Shepherd Who leads us along on the path that leads to life. He is the way, the truth and the life (See John 14:6) May you get to know Him intimately, and be known by Him.

Walk in Him

Image
“ …And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. ” — Matthew 28:20b (NLT) Jesus is Immanuel, “ God with us .” (Matthew 1:23). He is all we need. If we hunger and thirst, Jesus is the Bread of Life and the Living Water. When bound by lies and deception, Jesus is the truth that sets us free. In times of sickness, Jesus is the great Physician. And by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). When we are perplexed or confused, Jesus is the Way, follow Him. When anxious and fearful thoughts come, Jesus is the Prince of Peace. In the midst of the battle, we can raise a banner of victory, because  victory belongs to the LORD! (Proverbs 21:31) Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,  (Colossians 2:6 NASB)

Who is He?

Image
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered and said, “The Christ of God.” — Luke 9:20 (NKJV) Who do you say Jesus is? If you are lost, He is the good shepherd, who gives His life for the sheep. (John 10:11) He will lead you, guide you and protect you from the enemy. If you are sick, He is the great physician. If you hunger for more, He is the bread of life. (John 6:35) Jesus says: “ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. ” (John 6:47) Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “ I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. ” (John 8:12) Jesus is everything we need Him to be and He draws all peoples to Himself (John 12:32) No matter who you are or what you have done, Jesus calls us to come. May we know Him as our Lord and Savior.

Take it by Force

Image
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. — Matthew 11:12 (NKJV) I often wondered about these violent people who take the kingdom by force. I’m sure one of them was the woman in Mark 5:25-30, who suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. This woman has always intrigued me, more than the other people Jesus healed. She didn’t wait for her friends to carry her to Jesus on a cot. She didn’t lay by the pool waiting for an angel to stir up the water. Jesus didn’t find her laying in bed or hiding in a barn. No. She actively pursued her Healer, the great Physician. She believed the word she had heard about Jesus, and her belief compelled her to take action. She said to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” This woman had spent everything she had on doctors and her condition only grew worse. The people who take the kingdom by force, probably gave everything to the world, at one ti...

Rise Up

Image
But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. — Isaiah 40:31 (AMP) Let us look with expectancy to our great God. Instead of reading your horoscope, seek the One who has all your days recorded in His Book. Study God’s Word and rely on Him to give the answer and direction you seek. Before you call the doctor, go to the Great Physician, by His stripes, we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5). Before you phone a friend, get on the line with Jesus, our constant Companion. As we continually rely and depend on our Creator, we will gain new strength and rise up closer to Him.

He Wants To

Image
Then a leper appeared and went to his knees before Jesus, praying, “Master, if you want to, you can heal my body.” Jesus reached out and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be clean.” Then and there, all signs of the leprosy were gone. — Matthew 8:2-3 (MSG) Jesus wants to heal you and make you whole, here and now. Humble yourself under His mighty hand and call upon Jesus, the great Physician. His hand is always reaching out to you. Fall on your knees in His presence and receive all He has for you. It's His desire for you to live the more abundant life, in perfect peace and full of joy. No matter how circumstances appear, continue to stand on the Word of God. Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28 NLT). Whatever your burden is today, sickness or otherwise, give it to Him.

Moved with Compassion

Image
“And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.”  — Matthew‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭(NKJV‬) “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬). He is still moved with compassion. It is in the heart of Jesus to be compassionate. While the disciples wanted to send the crowd away, Jesus wanted to take care of their needs. He is the great Physician who heals the sick. He feeds the hungry and clothes the naked. He is the good Shepherd who watches over the sheep and guides them along the path of life. He gives light to those who dwell in darkness. To the prisoners of life circumstances, He provides liberty. He lifts up the heads of those bowed down and fills our minds with peace and joy.

“What then shall I do?”

Image
Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” — Matthew 27:22a (NKJV) What do you do with Jesus? Our very lives hang in the balance of how we answer that question. Do you praise Him in private, but are an invisible and silent partner when it comes to taking a stand for Him in public? Are you a believer or follower? Followers are believers, who follow up what they believe with action. Are you a spectator or imitator? Spectators never win because they never get involved in the game. (1 Corinthians 11:1). If you shut Jesus in a closet, for six days of the week, there is not much of an investment being made and the result is surface level, lukewarm living. (Revelation 3:16). When we live our lives for Jesus, out in the open, seven days a week, then we store up treasures in heaven and enjoy a deeper, richer and more satisfying life. If you surrender your life to Him, He will make you a into new creation. When you give Him your heart, He will be your lo...

Claim Your Healing!

He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!  — Psalm 107:20-21 (NKJV) Don't claim your sickness. Claim your healing! God sent Jesus, the Living Word, and by His stripes we are healed (1 Peter 2:24).  Proverbs 4:21-22 instructs us to pay attention to the words of wisdom because they are life to those who find them and they heal the whole body. Jesus is the Great Physician, His Words are wisdom. He heals ALL our diseases (Psalm 103:3)! In Jeremiah 30:17, the LORD says, ‘I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds.’ Praise the Lord for His wonderful works!

Our Healer!

Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the LORD, but only from the physicians. Then in the forty-first year of his reign Asa died and rested with his ancestors. — 2 Chronicles 16:12-13 (NIV) There is nothing wrong with going to the doctors, God uses them too. But put your trust and confidence in JESUS, the Great Physician. If we want to experience physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing, we must go to Jesus, our Healer. Only Jesus heals, delivers and makes us whole. Praise the Lord!
