He Provides

Image
And Abraham called the name of that place Yahweh Will Provide, as it is said this day, “In the mount of Yahweh it will be provided.” — Genesis 22:14 (LSB) Yahweh-Yireh is the LORD, our Provider. Our heavenly Father knows what you need before you ask Him. (See Matthew 6:8) …the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalms 84:11 NASB1995) Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (Matthew 6:31-33 NASB1995)

He Provides

Image
When they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore it was named Marah. So the people grumbled at Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” Then he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet. — Exodus 15:23-25a (NASB1995) Yahweh always provides for His people. In Exodus 14:21-30, the LORD saved Israel from the hand of their enemies by letting them walk through the midst of the sea, on dry land. However, He overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea; not even one of them remained. He rained down manna upon them to eat and gave them food from heaven, for forty years. (See Exodus 16:35 & Psalm 78:24) The LORD commanded the ravens to bring the prophet, Elijah, food. So Elijah did as the LORD told him and camped beside Kerith Brook. The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook. (See 1 Kings 17:2-6) His provision may not c...

Our Provider

Image
And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” — Genesis 22:14 (NKJV) The LORD is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and He is faithful to provide all that we need, spiritually, physically, etc. His supply is endless.  …your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. (See Matthew 6:8 NKJV) May our eyes look expectantly to Him. He gives us our food in due time. He opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. (See Psalm 145:15-17) Amen.

Trust at All Times

Image
Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. — Psalm 62:8 (AMP) Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, (Habakkuk 3:17 AMP), continue to trust Yahweh. Just as in Genesis 22:14, The-LORD-Will-Provide. As warnings arise about food shortages, and dwindling resources, continue to trust in the goodness of our great God. Trust in His faithfulness. He is a good and faithful Father who ALWAYS takes care of His children. He fed the Israelites for 40 years in the desert by providing manna from heaven. In the midst of the famine, in the land of Canaan, He provided resources and protection for His people, in the land of Goshen, through Joseph. (See Genesis 40) When the prophet Elijah was in the wilderness, the LORD sent ravens to bring him bread and ...

He Will Supply

Image
And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:19 (NASB 1995) Our awesome God is Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. He will supply all you need from His unlimited resources. That does not mean that we will not have to do our part and labor in order for them to manifest. He will supply the strength. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, how blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. (Psalm 84:11-12 AMP)  For everyone who knows your wonderful name keeps putting their trust in you. They can count on you for help no matter what. O Lord, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you. (Psalm 9:10 TPT)

FAITHFUL FATHER

Image
And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” — Galatians 4:6 (NLT) May we set our affections on our heavenly Father, as His affections are upon us. His faithful love endures forever (1 Chronicles 16:34 NLT). He did not create us and leave us to our own devices. Instead, He is with us, as our constant Companion, to lead us and guide us along on the path that leads to abundant life. He is continually attentive to every detail of our lives, right down to the number of hairs on your head. Our mighty God is our protection and our Provider. He watches over us, and is always ready to rescue. He delivers us from all our troubles. At each and every sunrise we will be thanking you for your kindness and your love. As the sun sets and all through the night, we will keep proclaiming, “ You are so faithful! ” (Psalm 92:2 TPT) …I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord Yahweh, for your name is good to me. ...

Great is the LORD

Image
For I know that the LORD is great, and our Lord is above all gods. — Psalm 135:5 (NKJV) The LORD is Elohim, the all—powerful God and Creator of the universe and all it contains. He intricately knits each and every person together in the the womb of their mother. And He writes all of our days in His Book, before we take our first breath. Almighty God is our provider. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above (James 1:17). He is El Shaddai: the all-sufficient One. Whatever we need, He is our source. He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). He is Adonai or Lord, full of majesty  and glory, worthy to be praised. We are children of the Most High God. He is greater than any challenge you encounter. Let us worship Him in spirt and in truth. He must increase, but we must decrease. (John 3:30)

My eyes are upon You

Image
But my eyes are upon You, O GOD the Lord; in You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute. — Psalm 141:8 (NKJV) The most effective and beneficial move we can make, in any and every situation is to keep our eyes on the LORD, our God. As Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he was able to walk on the water, but when he looked at the external conditions, the wind, around him, he got fearful and started to sink (Matthew 14:28-30). With our eyes on Jesus we can do the extraordinary. In Matthew 14:19-21, Jesus took five loaves and two fish, and looked up to heaven. He then proceeded to feed five thousand men, besides women and children. They all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the leftover fragments (Matthew 14:19-21). When we look to the Provider, He will take care of the provision. Instead of examining the complexities of the challenges, keep your eyes on the Lord and entertain the possibilities of our great God. We keep looking to the LORD our God for his...

“I will Rejoice”

Image
Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.  — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NKJV) I would sum up this passage of scripture like this: Though circumstances are not perfect, I will rejoice in the LORD, my God. Instead of complaining and finding fault, let us continually give thanks and praise to our Mighty God. Colossians 3:15 (NLT) reminds us that we are to always be thankful.  We can rejoice and be thankful at all times because our heavenly Father is our provider and no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11) I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. (Psalm 9:2 NKJV)

Relax

Image
“Don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or if the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your inner life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body.” — Luke 12:22-23 (MSG) “What I’m trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works.” (Luke 12:29-30 MSG). We can relax and stop being anxious about the cares of this world because we know God. We know that He is our provider. He cares for us and He will take care of everything we need to thrive in our inner beings (mentally, emotionally, spiritually) and our outer, physical life. When you don't know what to do, hang onto who you do know...God!

He is Willing

Image
A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed. “If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said. Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” — Mark 1:40-41 (NLT) The great I AM is always willing. He heals the sick, restores the broken, and gives life to that which is dead. Jesus is moved with compassion, to answer the needs of those who seek Him. Ask in faith and look expectantly to Him, our provider. He is the source of our strength, and hope. Give thanks and praise the Lord for his unfailing grace, mercy and compassion.

Yet, I will Rejoice!

Image
Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines;  even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) When circumstances appear utterly hopeless, we can still rejoice in the God of our salvation, our protector and provider, knowing that He is working all things together for our good. God’s sovereign rule will prevail in your life. The LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm (Nahum 1:3), and in any other adverse situation you face. He makes a way where there is no way. Amen!

His Exceeding Generosity

Image
You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. — Philippians 4:19 (MSG) May you abide in His perfect peace, knowing that our generous God is your provider. He will take care of all that concerns you. His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3 NKJV). Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life…(Matthew 6:25a AMP).

The Name of the LORD

Image
The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. — Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV) Where do you turn in times of trouble? Let us call on the name of the LORD. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth (Psalm 124:8). He is Jehovah Jireh, our provider and Jehovah Rophe, our healer. He is Jehovah Shammah, the God who is there. He neither slumbers nor sleeps. He is our strong tower and deliverer. Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and forevermore! (Psalm 113:2)

Our Only Hope

Image
I’m all ears, all eyes before you. Save me from my enemies, GOD— you’re my only hope! Teach me how to live to please you, because you’re my God. Lead me by your blessed Spirit into cleared and level pastureland.  — Psalm 143:9-10 (MSG) God is magnificent; he can never be praised enough. There are no boundaries to his greatness (Psalm 145:3 MSG).The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made (Psalm 145:9 NIV). He gives to all life, breath, and all things (Acts 17:25 NKJV). Keep your ears open to the sound of His loving voice. Fix your eyes upon Him. He is the answer, the solution, the provider, the healer. He is our only Hope!

Look & Lean

Image
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, until He has mercy on us. — Psalm 123:2 (NKJV) Do not put your confidence in your own strength, abilities, and talents. Look to the LORD. He has an abundant supply of all that we need. For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength (Isaiah 26:4), power and wisdom. In our weakness, His strength is made perfect. Keep looking to the LORD our God, watching and waiting, for His abundant mercy and great grace. Lean on and be confident in the LORD, our provider. He will be your support and supply what you lack.

Count on God!

Image
Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. — Jeremiah 32:17  (NKJV) God is our protector and provider. He is our help and our deliverer (Psalm 40:17). The LORD preserves us and keeps us alive (Psalm 41:2). He is our Savior. His faithfulness reaches to the clouds (Psalm 36:5) You can count on Him! Nothing is too difficult for our God. Hallelujah!

A Father to the Fatherless!

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.  — Psalm 68:5 (NIV) Some people don't know their biological fathers. Others have fathers who are absent from their lives for a number of reasons. And some earthly fathers were not healthy enough to be "good" fathers. However, The LORD sustains the fatherless (Psalm 146:9 NIV). Our Heavenly Father is perfect! He was there watching over us as children and He is always with us now. God is the helper of the fatherless (Psalm 10:14 NIV). He is the ultimate Provider and Protector. And He gives us wise guidance. Thank Abba Father for being the best Dad anyone could ever have.  “HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!”  to all the Dads. Know that your family needs you!

Look Expectantly

The eyes of all look expectantly to You, and You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.  — Psalm 145:15-16 (NKJV) God is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. He not only provides food for our physical bodies, He also gives us His Word to feed us spiritually. You can be sure that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). He opens His hand, and we are satisfied. Keep your eyes on the LORD and patiently wait, with expectation. He does not disappoint. “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” (Genesis 22:14).

Look to the LORD!

Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the LORD our God, Until He has mercy on us.  — Psalm 123:1-2 (NKJV) Instead of casting your eyes on the things that come in your life to distract you, look to the LORD. Our help comes from Him. God is our provider and He is the answer to every challenge. Look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2)!
