God’s Perfect Plan

Image
And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus. — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (TPT) Whatever you are in the midst of today, remember to be always giving thanks to God. If circumstances are not ideal, thank God that He is bringing you through it. The situation is temporary. When you focus on lack, it makes your world seem small. Being thankful for what God has already provided helps to acknowledge our Source: our heavenly Father and it also allows room for multiple blessings to flow into our lives. Being thankful creates an atmosphere for miracles to take place. In Matthew 14, a multitude of people were with Jesus, in a deserted place and He instructed the disciples to feed them. Jesus got them to focus on what they had. Then he had everyone sit down on the grass as he took the five loaves and two fish. He looked up into heaven, gave thanks to God, and broke the bread into pieces. He then gave it to his disciples, who in tu...

Never Give Up

Image
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! — 2 Corinthians 4:16-17 (NLT) So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT). So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up (Galatians 6:9 NLT). Fight the good fight of faith. Finish the race. Keep the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7)

Praise God for His Provision

Image
Soon the people began to complain about their hardship, and the LORD heard everything they said. Then the LORD’s anger blazed against them… — Numbers 11:1 (NLT) The Israelites said, “ We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes! ” (Numbers 11:5-6 NKJV). They despised the provision of the LORD and glorified what they ate while they were slaves. Sometimes we can get so focused on the small insignificant things, that we miss the big thing God is doing. The big thing is that they were free. May we always remember the good the LORD is doing, and has done in our lives. Instead of complaining about what we don’t have, let us lift our hands to praise God for all that He has provided. May we use the breath of life that He has put in our lungs to thank God that in spite of the hardships we face, He still reigns!

I Stand

Image
Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come—   — Acts 26:22 (NKJV) We have obtained help from God, therefore, we stand. Be convinced that God is on your side and He is working for your good. The LORD is our Helper. He has not brought you this far to leave you now. Instead of worrying, worship God and witness to others, about all the wonderful things He has done in your life. Amen!

Engaged in a Great Work

Image
So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?” — Nehemiah 6:3 (NKJV) The adversaries of the Israelites continually mocked, harassed and threatened Nehemiah, in an attempt to stop the work of God in their lives. Just as our enemy wants to pull you down and stop the work of God in your life. Don’t give place to the distractions. As you remain diligent to do the work God has given you, He will take care of all that concerns you. Whatever your God given assignment, whether big or small, it’s a great work. Arise and continue to build!

He is Mindful of You

Image
The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. — Psalm 115:12-13  (NKJV) The LORD has you on His mind. Thoughts of you continually invade the mind of God. Psalm 40:5 says, His thoughts toward us are more than can be numbered. Psalm 139:17 says, how precious also are His thoughts to us, O God! How great is the sum of them! Likewise, let us continually be mindful of our heavenly Father. God shows personal favoritism to no man (Galatians 2:6). He loves each and every one of us and is working for our good. So whether you think you’re small and insignificant or think you are great, if you fear the LORD, abundant blessings are coming your way!

He is Mindful of Us!

Image
You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield. The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. — Psalm 115:11-13 (NKJV) Never feel abandoned or deserted. You are always on the mind of God, the Creator of heaven and earth. God is mindful of us. His mind is full of thoughts and plans for us. Psalm 40:5 says His thoughts about us are more than can be numbered. He has written all of your days in His book and He has plans for you to give you hope and a future. Blessings are coming your way whether you think you are small or great. Hallelujah!

A Wide-Open Spacious Life!

Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way. I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively! — 2 Corinthians 6:11-13 (The Message) The enemy wants to keep you small and fenced in, to minimize the impact you will make for the kingdom of God. Don't give in to the limitations and restrictions you think you have. You can live above and beyond! We serve a BIG God, enter into the wide-open specious life He has prepared for you. A life lavished with the love of God, His perfect peace and exuberant joy.

He Has Been Mindful of Us!

The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great.  — Psalms 115:12-13 (NKJV) The LORD is always thinking about us. He has searched us and He knows us. The LORD knows when we sit and when we rise; He perceives our thoughts from afar. He discerns our going out and our lying down; He is familiar with all our ways. Before a word is on our tongue the LORD knows it completely (Psalm 139:1-4). He has blessed us most of all, with His Presence. What an awesome God!
