Hear & be Healed

Image
However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. — Luke 5:15  (NKJV) In Luke 5:1, the multitude pressed about Jesus to hear the word of God. May we not draw back but press in to hear His Word. A touch from Jesus, the Living Word, brings healing and wholeness. In Luke 5:12, a man full of leprosy saw Jesus, fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “ Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean .” Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “ I am willing; be cleansed. ” Immediately the leprosy left him. (Luke 5:13) Know that Jesus is able and willing to meet your need today.

Our Highest Good!

Being united with God is my highest good. I have made the Almighty LORD my refuge so that I may report everything that he has done.  — Psalm 73:28 (GW) It is good for us to draw near to God and stay connected to Him. Abide in the very presence of God and be led by His Holy Spirit. He is our safe place, our refuge, our shelter when the storms of life come. Tell everyone about the wonderful works He has done!

Only Believe!

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. — Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) Once we come to God, we must believe that He is and that He is able to do all that His Word tells us. In Mark 5:36, after the ruler of the synagogue received the news that his daughter was dead, Jesus told him, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” When you receive a report of bad news or the temporary things you see don't line up with the Word of God (which lasts forever), do not doubt and have no fear, only believe!

Victory is Ours!

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD. — Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) Don’t be intimidated by the sideshow distractions you see with your eyes or the bad report you hear with your ears. That is the enemy of your soul trying to induce fear and stop you from fulfilling God’s will for your life. Stand on the Word! God has not given us a spirit of fear. God’s Word says NO weapon formed against you shall prosper. He has already given us the victory in Jesus. This triumph over opposition is our heritage, as servants of the LORD. We are overcomers. Hallelujah!!!
