“In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. “Lord,” he said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” — Luke 5:12 (NLT) This man humbled himself in the presence of the Lord. Let us bow in His Presence with a humble heart. This man also recognized that Yeshua was able to heal Him. He had faith in Yeshua. However, he said “IF” you are are willing. Know today, that our Savior is indeed willing. In Luke 5:13, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.” King Yeshua reaches out to touch us too. Be receptive to His touch. He is able to heal us and make us clean. Thank Yeshua for who He is, our Redeemer, Advocate and Healer. May we submit to His ways and trust in His timing.

However, Yahweh does not drive us away from Him, when we sin. His call is always to come near to Him, with a humble and repentant heart. In Numbers 9:17, the children of Israel refused to obey Yahweh, and did not remember His wondrous deeds which He performed among them. So they became stubborn and in their rebellion they appointed a leader to return to their bondage (slavery in Egypt). I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. — Psalm 121:1-2 (NASB1995) Bow down with a humble heart before Yahweh, and lift up your eyes to Him. The LORD is for us among those who help us; Therefore we will look with satisfaction on those who hate us. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes. (See Psalm 118:7-9) Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in the LORD, lovingkindness shall surround him. (Psalm 32:10 NASB1995) Trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever. (See Psalm 52:8) How blessed is the man who has made the LORD his trust, and has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood. (Psalm 40:4 NASB1995)

Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” — 1 Peter 5:5 (NKJV) Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; Assuredly, he will not be unpunished. (Proverbs 16:5 NASB1995) Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before stumbling. (Proverbs 16:8 NASB1995) Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, (1 Peter 5:6 NKJV)  Even Jesus, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (See Philippians 2:8) Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose]. (James 4:10 AMP)

“ For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His… ” — 2 Chronicles 16:9a (NASB1995) In Revelation 3:20 (NASB1995), Jesus said: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” Once you open the door and let Him in, have a humble and teachable heart, that is responsive to His touch. Let Him mold it and shape it. He who hardens his heart [and is determined to sin] will fall into disaster. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7 (NLT) Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. (1 Peter 3:3-4 NLT)  YAHWEH delights to set truth deep in our spirits. So break down any barriers between you and our heavenly Father and invite Him to come into the hidden places of your heart and teach you wisdom. The source of God’s pleasure is not in our performance or the sacrifices we might offer to Him. Let our sacrifice be a humble spirit. YAHWEH will not reject a humble and repentant heart. Rest in His Presence. Put the yoke of Jesus on and learn from Him, for He is gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest and renewal for your souls. ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts. — Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV) It’s by His Spirit that our battles are won. By His Spirit we overcome obstacles and triumph through trials and tribulation. We can experience joy on the job with the Holy Spirit as our constant companion. With the comfort of the Holy Spirit we can have peace in the midst of problems. He will strengthen you in times of sorrow and sadness. Instead of resisting the Holy Spirit, receive Him, with an open and humble heart. ‘ And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. ’ (Acts 2:17 NKJV)

They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. — Matthew 2:11a (NLT) The initial response the wise men had when they entered the presence of Jesus was to bow down and worship Him. Bowing down is an act of surrender and submission. It’s an acknowledgement of His lordship over our lives. Bowing down is an indication of a humble heart. It says not my will but Your’s be done. As wise men and women, may we bow down and worship Jesus, the Lord of lords and King of kings, every day God gives us breath. He is called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.
