A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. — Proverbs 16:9 (AMP) Prayerfully make your plans. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:6 NLT) Value the plan of God for your life more than you desire anything this world has to offer. May we continually follow the lead of His Holy Spirit each day, as He directs and guides us along the right path. Commit your way to Yahweh, trust in Him, and He will do it. (Psalm 37:5 LSB)  Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve. (Colossians 3:23-24 AMP)

I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. Psalm 37:23 (NLT) says: He delights in every detail of our lives. Even though we get tripped up, we will not fall on our faces, because the LORD holds us by the hand. In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps. — Proverbs 16:9 (NIV) Few would board a plane with no flight plan, one that was just going to fly around awhile and then possibly land before it ran out of gas, at some unknown location. However, many coast through life, with no plan, jus t reacting to the winds that blow their way. Yes, the LORD has plans for us, plans to give us hope and a future, but we have to take the steps necessary to bring the plan to life. Chart your course and He will show you the way and the time. The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. (Psalm 37:23 NLT).

Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand. — Psalm 37:23-24 (NLT) When you stumble, the LORD will hold you up. When all others desert you, it is the LORD who stands by your side. When you find yourself in a pit, He will reach down and pull you out. Our heavenly Father attends to every detail of our lives. Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. (Psalm 37:3 NKJV)

Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. — Colossians 3:15 (AMP) Don’t let external circumstances (what someone says to you or actions they take against you) control your decisions or your emotions. Let God’s peace be the guiding force that directs you to walk in His will and in His ways. As believers and members of God’s family, we are called to dwell together in peace, in one body. Let us walk in the love and grace of God and build each other up.

This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.” — Isaiah 48:17 (NIV) Our heavenly Father created us and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). Most of us would sell ourselves short, but God knows whats best for us. And He reveals it to us, as we faithfully follow Him, step by step. All the days ordained for us were written in His book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:16). So He already has our journey mapped out. Trust God to guide you along on the path of life, to good success and victory.

He also delights in being involved in every detail of our lives. Take all your cares and concerns to our heavenly Father. We never have to feel like we are bothering God. He wants us to come to Him, with all our concerns, questions and fears, etc. His ear is always attentive to His children. And it tickles the heart of God when His children give Him thanks for working out the details of our lives.

He delights to be involved in every detail of our lives. When it comes to us, He leaves nothing to chance. Though we may fall, we shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps our hand in support and upholds us. (Psalm 37:24 AMP). Let us be grateful that He cares enough to be concerned.

Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established. — Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV) Wholly commit the works of your hands— whatever you are planning or pursuing, to the LORD and He will cause your thoughts to come into alignment with His will. A man’s heart plans his way, but the LORD directs our steps (Proverbs 16:9). As you follow the leading of His Holy Spirit within you, your plans will succeed.

Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. — Psalm 37:5-6 (NKJV) Even though a man’s heart plans his way, it is the LORD who directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9). For good and lasting success, commit everything you do to the LORD and trust Him to bring it to pass in His perfect timing. The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way... (Psalm 37:23 AMP).

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. 
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life! — Proverbs 3:5-8 (MSG) In our hearts, we may make our plans, but remember, it is the LORD who establishes and directs our steps. (Proverbs 16:9) In the coming year, may we listen for God’s voice and follow through with the action He is calling us to take. Not our will, but His be done. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).

By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me—a prayer to the God of my life. — Psalm 42:8 (NIV) The LORD intentionally and purposefully directs His unfailing love upon us, each and every day. There is no shortage of lovingkindness in His storehouse. His compassions never fail! They are fresh and new every morning. His goodness is so great, our hearts burst forth with songs of praise and thanksgiving in the night. Hallelujah!

Nothing that happens in your life catches God by surprise. He has already worked out every challenge you face. Make each step, a step of faith as you follow the path He sets before you, and you will overcome any obstacles and live a victorious life.

If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea. — Isaiah 48:17-18 (NIV) Our heavenly Father only wants the best for us. When we obey Him, we will experience a deep and constant flow of peace. And when the stormy waves come in, one after another, it will be well with our souls, because the LORD will show us what to do, and which way to go.

This is what the LORD says—  your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:  “I am the LORD your God,  who teaches you what is best for you,  who directs you in the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17 (NIV) Follow the LORD and He will lead in the way you should go and show you what to do. Our God teaches you how to live right and well (Isa. 4817, The Message). Our heavenly Father only wants what is best for you. Don't settle for anything less than God's best.
