No Boundaries

Image
God is magnificent; he can never be praised enough. There are no boundaries to his greatness. — Psalm 145:3 (MSG) We serve a mighty, big God. His love is limitless. His grace and mercy knows no bounds. His supply of peace and joy are everlasting. Time and space have no hold on His mighty power. The extent of how much of Him we experience in our lives is limited by our expectations. To the woman with the issue of blood, all she had to do was touch the hem of His garment and His power was released to change her life forever. (Matthew 9:20-22). For the centurion, all Jesus had to do was speak the word and his servant was healed. (Luke 7:7). When we call out to God, He answers. What is they cry of your heart today? Humbly come to Him with earnest expectation that He is all you need Him to be and He has exactly what you need to experience victory in your life.

Frustrated?

My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him. — Psalm 62:5 (AMP) Frustration often comes when our reality doesn’t line up with our expectations. We expected something or someone to be a certain way, by a certain time and it has not happened yet. That is where we are to let patience work in us. May we continue to do our part and wait patiently for God’s perfect timing to bring about the desired outcome. Accepting where God has us right now, will keep us in His river of deep and abiding peace and we will just flow into whatever God has for us at the appointed time.

Run with Endurance!

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, — Hebrews 12:1 (NKJV) How do we run our race with endurance? The key factor in running well is to learn how to "let go." When we experience disappointments and setbacks in life and people don't measure up to our expectations, we have to let it go and move on down the road. Philippians 3:13 (NIV) says it this way: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. Strip off that heavy weight of past hurts and bitter disappointments and keep running! The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger. — Job 17:9 (NLT)
