“Can the dead live again? If so, this would give me hope through all my years of struggle, and I would eagerly await the release of death.” — Job 14:14 (NLT) GOD has decided the length of our lives. He knows how many months we will live, and we are not given a minute longer. (See Job 14:5 NLT) However, we can have hope because we have King Yeshua, the resurrection and the life. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (See 2 Corinthians 5:6-8) In John 11:25-26 (NKJV) Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. (...

He prayed to the LORD and said, “Please LORD, was not this what I said while I was still in my own country? As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. — Psalm 125:2 (NASB) People may desert you, but the Lord will stand with you and give you strength. In His Presence, there is wonder-working power. We are empowered to complete the assignment He has given to each one of us. In His Presence, we have peace, protection and fullness of joy. For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NLT) Faithfully stand with the Lord, as He stands with you.

Believe in the Eternal, and do what is good— live in the land He provides; roam, and rest in God’s faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (VOICE) The Amplified Bible says to trust, rely on and have confidence in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed securely on His faithfulness. (Psalm 37:3) When we rely on Him to work in us and through us, His perfect will is accomplished. Let us put more confidence in our great God than we do earthly events, that doctor’s report, or the balance of our bank account, etc. Trust God to handle everything that concerns you and He will keep you in perfect peace. God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19) He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Amen.

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. — Isaiah 59:19 (NKJV) When the enemy comes in like a flood, remember, God is on our side and there are more with us than with the enemy. The battle belongs to the LORD, and He has given us the victory! “ Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. (2 Chronicles 32:7-8 NKJV) Be strengthened by His Word today.

…casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].  — 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) This Scripture gives us two things to do. First, we have to cast our cares. That means we have to let them go. Release them to God. Notice it says “ALL” your cares. Don’t hold onto one, thinking you know better than God how to fix it. Psalm 55:22 in The Message Bibles says, “ Pile your troubles on God’s shoulders— he’ll carry your load, he’ll help you out. He’ll never let good people topple into ruin. ” If you are still worrying about something, that's a good indication that you have not cast it. The second thing this Scripture requires us to do is believe that God cares about us. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV). Know t...

So He said, “I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there. I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again…” — Genesis 46:3-4 (NKJV) God promised Israel that He would accompany him on his journey to Egypt. And He fulfilled that promise. Israel dwelt in the best of the land, and grew and multiplied exceedingly. (Genesis 47:11, 27). Our mighty God is a Promise Keeper. His words still ring true for His people today. We are not to fear treading where God has called us to go. When we go down, let us remember that God is with us and He will surely bring us up again. May we encourage ourselves in the LORD and find strength to endure life's challenges. Wherever and whatever God leads us to, He is faithful to bring us through it, out of it, or over it. Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. — Matthew 13:58 (NKJV) What mighty works are hindered in our lives by unbelief? He who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. Let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord (James 1:6-7). Our faith is the hinge that opens the door to all God has for us. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). The Message Bible says, anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him (Hebrews 11:6b).

  I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. — Psalm 40:1-2 (NLT) When your life seems to be in the pits, cry out to the LORD and look up. Wait patiently and expectantly for Him (Psalm 40:1 AMP). The LORD will hear your cry and lift you out of the pit of despair. As the mud and mire of life pulls you down, He will draw you out and set your feet on solid ground.

 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.  — 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV) God is always looking for people who are fully committed to Him. He doesn't want lukewarm, middle of the road believers. Revelation 3:16 says, “because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth (Revelation 3:15-16). Let us be on fire for the LORD and passionate about fulfilling His purpose in our lives. Amen!

Wait patiently and expectantly for the LORD. He is faithful to lift you up, out of the pit of despair. Keep your hope in Him alive. Our heavenly Father will put you on solid ground and make your steps secure.

“Don’t be sad because the joy you have in the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 (GW) Don't let the enemy steal your joy. James 1:2 says to “ consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds ” (James 1:2). Cast all your cares on the LORD and rejoice. Think about all the wonderful things God has done and is doing in your life. Take great delight in His mercies and the new compassions God showered you with this morning. Be glad for the victory that we have in Jesus Christ. May your mouth be filled with laughter, and your tongue with songs of joy!

Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8 (NLT) Instead of letting your mind dwell on the bad, the worst and the ugly, think about what is good, true, respectable, and admirable. If anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Elevate your thoughts and you will live your life above the circumstances of this world. Amen.

LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished  you have done for us. Isaiah 26:12 (NIV) Whatever we have done, the LORD has given us the strength and wisdom to accomplish it. He has opened doors that man tried to shut and closed doors that no one could open. Stick with the LORD, and He will fight your battles and make you victorious.
