Manna for Your Morning

The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this:
“I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. — Isaiah 57:15 (NLT) God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. (See James 4:6) Let us humble ourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt us, in due time. (See James 4:10 & 1 Peter 5:6) May we dwell in the high and holy place, in the Presence of Yahweh. For His thoughts are not our thoughts, nor are our ways His ways, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:8-9) We shall be holy, for the LORD our God is holy. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14 NKJV) 

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. — Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) Don’t allow your faith to be shipwrecked. Fix your hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all people. This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells], (Hebrews 6:19 AMP). Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. — 1 Timothy 1:19 (NLT)

This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells], — Hebrews 6:19 (AMP) “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. (Jeremiah 17:7 NKJV) Our hope in Christ is is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls… It holds us firm and secure in stormy times. When the winds of adversity blow, it keeps us from being tossed to and fro in a sea of uncertainty. So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! (Psalm 31:24 NLT)

…God lives forever and is holy. He is high and lifted up. He says, “I live in a high and holy place, but I also live with people who are sad and humble. I give new life to those who are humble and to those whose hearts are broken.”  — Isaiah 57:15 (NCV) Our God is exalted on high and He is also a God who dwells with His people. Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear (Isaiah 59:1 NIV). You are never out of His reach. He gives new life to those who humble themselves under His mighty hand. He restores crushed spirits and revives repentant hearts. “ I, even I, am He who comforts you… ”  Isaiah 51:12 (NKJV)

“Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place. — 2 Chronicles 29:5 (NKJV) During King Hezekiah's restoration project, he instructed the Levitical priests to clean out the holy place. First Peter 2:9 says, we are a a royal priesthood. We are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in us (1 Corinthians 3:16). So, let us take a survey of all that we have accumulated throughout the year and carry out any rubbish. Get rid of all debris: offense, unforgiveness, pride, rebellion, etc. These are things which will cause a root of bitterness to grow and defile our temples. Amen!
