“When the apostles returned, they told Jesus everything they had done. Then he slipped quietly away with them toward the town of Bethsaida. But the crowds found out where he was going, and they followed him. He welcomed them and taught them about the Kingdom of God, and he healed those who were sick.” — Luke 9:10-11 (NLT) “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8 NLT) He still brings healing and wholeness to those who are sick. And He still welcomes ALL who choose to follow Him. In Luke 9:23 (NLT), Jesus said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” May we give up our own ways, and follow Yeshua every day. He will empower us to walk in the ways of the Kingdom of God.

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.  — Matthew 6:33 (AMP) The most profitable and advantageous thing we can invest our time, talents and resources in is the Kingdom of God. “And don’t be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don’t worry about such things. These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. Then the LORD said to Moses, “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. I am the LORD your God. So do not act like the people in Egypt, where you used to live, or like the people of Canaan, where I am taking you. You must not imitate their way of life.” — Leviticus 18:1-3 (NLT) God's people were never to imitate the world and the culture around us. Romans 12:2 (AMP) says: And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. We are members of God's family and citizens of the Kingdom of God. As ambassadors, may all we do and say reflect the nature of our heavenly Father, and the culture of His Kingdom.

Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. — Psalm 34:10 (NLT) Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. (Psalm 34:8-9) For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalm 84:11 NLT) If Yahweh is withholding something, chances are it is not a “ good ” thing for you right now. So continue to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (See Matthew 6:33 NKJV) So do not consume yourselves with questions: What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? Outsiders make themselves frantic over such questions; they don’t realize that your heavenly Father knows exactly what you need.  — Matthew 6:31-32 (NKJV)

My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” — Psalm 27:8 (NLT) Seek the face of YAHWEH in prayer, and require His Presence as your greatest need. (See Psalm 27:8 AMP) Desire more of Him, above anything else. Our primary goal is to live close to the LORD, to know Him more and more each day, and respond to His will and His Word. Let us get rid of the clutter in our minds, hearts and lives. The worries and cares of this world will choke the Word out. (See Mark 4:19) And let go of man-made traditions. In Mark 7:8 (AMP) Yeshua says: “You disregard and neglect the commandment of God, and cling [faithfully] to the tradition of men.” Instead, listen for His still small voice, and your own ears will hear him.  “ Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. ” — Matthew 6:9-10 (NASB) Jesus taught the disciples to pray that His kingdom come. He also taught the Kingdom of God is near now. (See Luke 10:9, Luke 10:11 & Luke 21:31 NLT) It is up to us to CHOOSE His way and the Kingdom of God over the ways of this world, our culture, or our selfish, fleshly desires. In Matthew 16:18 (NASB), Jesus said the gates of Hades will not overpower His church. So no matter how current circumstances appear, know that the church and the Kingdom of God will prevail. We fight from a position of victory. Daily, seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will provide everything you need. (See Matthew 6:33)

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. — Psalm 16:11 (AMP) Truly, it is the Presence of the LORD Who makes our joy complete. What an honor and privilege for us to be able to enter into His Holy Presence. What a pleasure to have His Holy Spirit dwelling in us, helping us, and comforting us. We get to experience His everlasting peace, in the midst of worldly chaos and confusion. As ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, we are to live a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope! — Romans 15:13 (TPT)

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. — 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NASB) As ambassadors for Christ, we are sent out as representatives for the Kingdom of God. We are not to copy the behavior and customs of this world. Instead we are to conform to the culture of God’s Kingdom, one of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17) We have been given the ministry of reconciliation to bring others to Christ. May we not be infected by the world, but instead, affect the world for the Kingdom of God. But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him], — 2 Corinthians 5:18 (AMP)

Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]  — John 14:27 (AMP) While the world may be insecure and unstable, as citizens in the Kingdom of God, we have a firm foundation that is not moved by the constantly changing circumstances of this world. When chaos and calamities confront the world, Believers are calm and undisturbed. Men and women of God do not panic, but remain in perfect peace, which transcends human understanding. Those in the world may be fearful, but children of God trust our heavenly Father and live by faith. Believers triumph over the troubles of this world, because we are in Christ, and Jesus has already overcome the world. Amen.

Jesus taught his disciples, saying, “Listen to me. Never let anxiety enter your hearts. Never worry about any of your needs, such as food or clothing. For your life is infinitely more than just food or the clothing you wear.” — Luke 12:22-23 (TPT) I repeat it: “Don’t let worry enter your life. Live above the anxious cares about your personal needs. People everywhere seem to worry about making a living, but your heavenly Father knows your every need and will take care of you. Each and every day he will supply your needs as you seek his kingdom passionately, above all else.” (Luke 12:29-31 TPT) The fiery darts of the enemy are meant to distract you. Keep seeking the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.

Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. — Hebrews 12:28 (NLT) The Passion Translation says, … we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. When we are firmly planted in the Kingdom of God, we are not moved by worldly circumstances. For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Psalm 115:12 says, the LORD has been mindful of us. Let your mind be occupied with thoughts about His greatness and goodness more than anything else. Give Him your whole heart and full adoration.  Worthy is the LORD, our God, to receive all praise, glory and honor! You have been my constant helper; therefore, I sing for joy under the protection of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand reaches down and holds me up. — Psalm 63:7-8 (VOICE)

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) The Amplified Bible says: Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin], having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude. (Colossians 2:6-7) Let us be deeply rooted in Jesus, the everlasting Rock, and bear much fruit for the Kingdom of God. …and all drank the same spiritual drink. “Do not store up for yourselves [material] treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal;” — Matthew 6:19-20 (AMP) The material things we accumulate in this life, will eventually disintegrate and become rubbish. Let us invest into the Kingdom of God. In Matthew 25:35-36, Jesus said: “ I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. ” And in Matthew 25:40, He says, “... inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me .”  Let's not only invest our finances, but our talents and time also.
