Great & Beyond Measure

Image
It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (AMP) The lovingkindness of Yahweh is in the heavens, His faithfulness reaches to the skies. (See Psalms 36:5 LSB) His faithfulness endures to all generations. (See Psalms 119:90 NKJV) Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. (Psalms 37:3 NKJV) For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says Yahweh who has compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10 LSB)

Prepare Your Heart

Image
For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. (Psalms 119:2 AMP) Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! This is my comfort in my affliction, for...

He is Mindful of Us

Image
Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your salvation say continually, “The LORD be magnified!” Since I am afflicted and needy, let the Lord be mindful of me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God. — Psalm 40:16-17 (NASB1995) When we are in the midst of troubles and trials, the enemy would like us to believe that our heavenly Father has forgotten about us. Don’t believe his lie. In Psalm 144:3, David asked: “Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him?” Have no doubt, Yahweh is with you. He watches over His people now and forevermore. The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. (Psalm 115:12) He is our help and our deliverer. Amen.

The Real Blessing

Image
“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” — Deuteronomy 31:8 (NASB1995) In Exodus 33:14 (NKJV), the LORD said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” We can rest in Him when we realize that in His Presence, we have all that we need. If you are waiting on some “big” blessing, realize that Presence of YAHWEH is the greatest blessing we could ever experience. The real blessing is not in any material or temporary thing. His Presence with us, always and forever, is the highest honor and privilege. In His Presence is peace, joy and unfailing love. With the LORD there is lovingkindness. (See Psalm 130:7 NASB1995) In His Presence is healing, restoration, renewal, and times of refreshing (see Acts 3:19 NKJV). In Joshua 1:5 (NASB), the LORD said to Joshua, “No one will be able to oppose you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not desert you...

Great Reward

Image
So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward!  — Hebrews 10:35 (TPT) We tend to grow weary when we look back at all we have been through. Instead, look ahead. Hebrews 12:2 (NLT) says Jesus disregarded its shame and endured the cross because of the joy awaiting Him. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Hebrews 12:2b (TPT) says: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (Galatians 6:9 NLT) God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.  — James 1:12 (NLT)

Be Awestruck!

Image
Then the sailors picked Jonah up and threw him into the raging sea, and the storm stopped at once! The sailors were awestruck by the LORD’s great power, and they offered him a sacrifice and vowed to serve him. — Jonah 1:14-16 (NLT) In Jonah 1:1-3, God told Jonah to go to the city of Nineveh and proclaim His message, but Jonah went in the opposite direction hoping to get away from the LORD. Then the LORD sent a storm.  In Jonah 1:14 (NLT), the sailors threw Jonah overboard, in order to calm the storm. They cried out to the LORD, “O LORD,” they pleaded, “don’t make us die for this man’s sin. And don’t hold us responsible for his death. O LORD, you have sent this storm upon him for your own good reasons.” God has good reasons for allowing the storms that come into our lives. In Jonah’s case his obedience meant that a city of more than 120,000 people turned from their wicked ways and were saved. When the storms come, don’t lose hope, know that God has already prepared a way out...

Come Freely

Image
Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. — Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) Since we have a great High Priest, Jesus, the Son of God who has passed through the heavens from death into new life with God, let us hold tightly to our faith. For Jesus is not some high priest who has no sympathy for our weaknesses and flaws. He has already been tested in every way that we are tested; but He emerged victorious, without failing God. (Hebrews 4:14-15 VOICE) What a great privilege and honor! Jesus has given us access, so come freely into the throne room of God today. Present yourselves to God as a living and holy sacrifice. Receive mercy and accept His help. So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and d...

Call upon His Name

Image
Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! — Psalm 105:1 (NKJV) I love the LORD, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. (Psalm 116:1-2) Let us call upon the LORD, in the early morning, noon and night, (throughout our day). Why call? Because He is our constant companion and He is faithful to answer. Call because He is your helper and your only hope. Call upon Him because you love Him and He cares for you.

A Bright Future

Image
Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the LORD. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. — Proverbs 23:18 (NIV) In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short. (Proverbs 24:14 NLT) To walk in wisdom, is to honor the LORD and put Him first in all that we do. It is wise to let His Word be the guiding principle of our lives. As we walk in wisdom, our hope will not be cut off because the LORD has plans for us that are good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. (Hebrews 10:36 NLT)

What’s Next?

Image
This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. — Romans 8:15-16 (MSG) When are a chosen generation, chosen and called by God to be an active member of His family. When we walk with God we can expect one great adventure after another, as we go from glory to glory. We have a mission and a purpose to fulfill, as we make the most of the gifts and talents He has given to us. Put your hand in His, and be fully expectant for the adventurous journey God has for you today!

Enjoy to the Full

Image
Do not, therefore, fling away your [fearless] confidence, for it has a glorious and great reward. For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised. — Hebrews 10:35-36 (AMP) When it comes to God’s promises, we want to enjoy them to the fullest extent possible. In order to get there, the writer of Hebrews says we need to develop patient endurance, perseverance, a stick-to-it-ness. Patient endurance —not just waiting, but continually doing the will of God in all situations, without caving in or giving up. Thank God that His grace gives us the power and strength to successfully do that. Amen!

Good & Kind

Image
You are good and kind and do good; teach me Your statutes. — Psalm 119:68 (AMP) The Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting (Psalm 100:5 AMP). Oh, that men would praise [and confess to] the Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness and His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm 107:21). He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. He redeems us from death and crowns us with love and tender mercies. He fills our lives with good things (Psalm 103:3-5). Let us, like our heavenly Father, do good and practice kindness.

Thorn in Your Flesh?

So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud. — 2 Corinthians 12:7b (NLT) The Message translation says, so I wouldn’t get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan’s angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. Are you being pricked? So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor (1 Peter 5:6, NLT). And remember what the Lord said: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness,” (2 Corinthians 12:9a, NKJV). His grace (favor, loving-kindness and mercy) is more than enough!

Ever & Always!

God’s love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear him, Making everything right for them and their children as they follow his Covenant ways and remember to do whatever he said.  — Psalm 103:17-18 (The Message) God's love is forever and always. He is not a deserter. Our heavenly Father never abandons us, or runs out on us. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them (1 John 4:16). Don't let your heart get out of alignment with the love of God.

He is By Our Side

I will praise the LORD, who advises me. My conscience warns me at night. I always keep the LORD in front of me. When he is by my side, I cannot be moved. That is why my heart is glad and my soul rejoices. Psalm 16:7-9a (GW) Keep your eyes on the LORD and follow Him. With our heavenly Father by our side,  we cannot be moved. God is on our side to help us and fight our battles (2 Chronicles 32:8). He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! Let your heart be glad and your soul rejoice because we win!

Celebrate God!

Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Philippians 4:4-5 (The Message) Celebrate God. He is so good and there is no end to the love and compassion He showers on us. We have so much to rejoice about in the LORD. He withholds no good thing from those who do what is right (Psalm 84:11). The LORD shows us the path to true life; He fills us with joy in His presence and eternal pleasures are at His right hand (Psalm 16:11). He constantly watches over us and catches us when we fall. Where would we be without Him?

All Things are Possible

"If you can?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes." Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" Mark 9:23-24 (NIV) Jesus said, " All things are possible for him who believes ." He didn't say some things are possible, but all . Whenever the world tells us we "can't" we must believe we can. With God on our side, the impossible becomes the possible. Know that God is able and do not doubt. Amen. Love, Jackie

He Will Repay

"I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten - the great locust and the young locust - the other locusts and the locust swarm - my great army that I sent among you." Joel 2:25 (NIV) Our God is a God of restoration. He gave Job double for his trouble. He will restore what the locusts have eaten out of your life. Where there is sickness, He brings healing. He turns our mourning into joy and our lack into abundance. Give glory to God. Love, Jackie
