The Work of His Hands

Image
You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. — Psalm 139:15-16 (MSG) But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand (Isaiah 64:8 NKJV). Our heavenly Father is the Master potter. He takes us and creates magnificent masterpieces that reveal His greatness. He created you into something special. Let us be pliable and responsive to the touch of His hand as we are living testimonies made to reveal the glory of God, our Creator.

Make Gains!

If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. — 1 Corinthians 13:3 (NLT) We make gains in this life by sharing the genuine, selfless, love of Christ with others. If we don’t love, we've gotten nowhere. Love (affection and goodwill and benevolence) edifies and builds up and encourages one to grow [to his full stature] (1 Corinthians 8:1, AMP). Love never fails —it's instant in every season. Make great gains in your love!

Nothing's Too Hard for Him!

‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. — Jeremiah 32:17 (NKJV) God created the heavens and the earth. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our LORD and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit. (Psalm 147:4-5). God sent His angel and shut the mouths of the lions, when Daniel was thrown in the lions den (Daniel 6:22).   God gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did (Romans 4:17).  He gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). You can fully rely on God. There is nothing He can’t do!

Have You Forgotten?

Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.  — Jeremiah 2:32 (NKJV) Have you forgotten your God, days without number? Do you go days without giving God a thought? When we turn aside from following the LORD, we go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing (1 Samuel 12:21). Does Jesus ever have preeminence in your life? He is more important than football games, your children's sports, shopping, etc? Instead of just fitting God in wherever we can, let's build our lives around God.
