Victory IN Christ

Image
Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. — Philippians 4:13 (MSG) No matter what you go through today, remember that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. The Passion Translation says: “ And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty. ” (Philippians 4:13 TPT) Keep Christ at the center of all that you do. As we submit to the work of the Holy Spirit, His power and strength works through us. And IN CHRIST, we have the victory. Amen! So, my dear Christian friends, companions in following this call to the heights, take a good hard look at Jesus. He’s the centerpiece of everything we believe, faithful in everything God gave him to do. — Hebrews 3:1 (MSG)

He Strengthens & Empowers

Image
I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] — Philippians 4:13 (AMP) When the enemy says: “ you can’t, ” remember, you can do all things through Christ. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty. (Philippians 4:13 TPT) Don’t run ahead of Him and try to do it on your own. Follow Christ as He leads and guides you and He will enable you to do all that He has purposed for you. I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. (Psalm 57:2 NLT) Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. — Philippians 4:13 (MSG)

Prevail!

Image
Thus the children of Israel were subdued at that time; and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied on the LORD God of their fathers. — 2 Chronicles 13:18 (NKJV) To prevail means to prove more powerful than opposing forces; be victorious. In Matthew 16:18 (NLT) Jesus says, “ Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. ” We are the church and the powers of darkness will not prevail against us, when we rely on the Lord. Trust in the Lord [and rely on Him with unwavering confidence]. (Psalm 31:6b AMP) “They will fight against you, but they will not [ultimately] prevail over you, for I am with you [always] to protect you and deliver you,” says the LORD. (Jeremiah 1:19 AMP) O LORD of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. (Psalm 84:12 AMP)

What’s Your Story?

Image
And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. — Revelation 12:11 (AMP) What Jesus went through was not for himself. He suffered, bled and died for us. Maybe what you are going through today, or have gone through in the past, is not about you. Even when faced with death, hold on to faith. God can use the land of your suffering to bring about great blessing and much fruit. Your greatest struggle becomes your story. Our stories may vary, but if we persevere to the end, Jesus has ensured victory for us all. Endure the hardship, and you will overcome and conquer all! Share your story. Your testimony will give others hope that they too will see the LORD’s goodness here in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)

God with Us!

Image
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” — Matthew 1:23 (NKJV) In every trial, in every temptation and in every challenge, this is all we need to know: God is with us! He is not against us. God is for you. He loves you. The Creator of the universe chose you! He created you with a purpose. Only you, with your unique set of gifts, talents and personality can fulfill the glorious destiny He has for you. He works all things together for good. The plans He has for you are good. How can you lose, when Jesus has already won the victory for us? All of our days are written in His Book. We win. Our heavenly Father has given us everything we need to overcome and conquer all. It's only possible when we humble ourselves and totally depend, rely on and trust in God and recognize that He is with us. Glory hallelujah!

Redeemed!

Image
And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals;  For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, — Revelation 5:9 (NKJV) We overcome and conquer our enemy because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony… (Revelation 12:11 AMP). Jesus Christ, loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, (Revelation 1:5) His blood washes us all, no matter which tribe, tongue, people or nation we belong to. He set the captives free. Those who dwell in darkness, He brings into the light. Worthy is the Lamb of God, to receive all honor, praise and glory! Sing a new song to Him today.

A Different Spirt

Image
But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it. — Numbers 14:24 (NKJV) In the school of ministry, we learned that “different” means next. While the other Israelites were ready to turn around and go back to the land of their captivity, Caleb was courageous and ready to conquer the enemies living in the promised land. Do you have a what’s next spirit or a what could have been spirit? Let us not have a critical, whining or complaining spirit like those who perished in the desert. The eyes of the LORD are constantly searching the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). Even though circumstances don’t appear the way you thought they should, always be ready to move on and ask God “what’s next?”

Be Strong & Courageous!

Image
Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight. — 1 Chronicles 19:13 (NKJV) Wikipedia says courage is the ability and willingness to confront fear, pain, danger, uncertainty or intimidation. In God, we can be of good courage because we know He is able to conquer all that concerns us. Let us be strong for other believers; encourage one another and build each other up. May we work together in love and unity to take our cities for God! Our God is good and He will always do what is good in His sight. Amen!

What is your perspective?

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” — 1 Samuel 17:45 (NKJV) Goliath, the Philistine giant, challenged the armies of Israel for forty days. While the rest of the Israelites were dismayed and greatly afraid, David took a stand against his enemy. Instead of being fearful and intimidated, he activated his faith. He did not concern himself with the size of Goliath. David saw the situation from a higher viewpoint. He kept his eyes on God and trusted Him to deliver him from Goliath, just as God had delivered him in the past (1 Samuel 17:37). So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him (1 Samuel 17:50). If you want to conquer the giants in your life, adjust your line of sight. Instead of looking at the problem, shift your point of view. How you see the situa...

The Most High - Our Dwelling Place

Image
Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. — Psalm 90:1-2 (NKJV) When we make the Lord our dwelling place, we stay and settle in Him. We reside in His loving Presence and know that He is always with us. If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone (Psalm 91:9-12, NLT).

We Overcome

And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death... — Revelation 12:11 (AMP) We overcome the devil, who deceives the whole world (Revelation 12:9), by the precious blood of Jesus and by the words we utter out of our mouths. Our tongues have the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21). Choose to speak words of life. Tell others about the goodness of God and what He has done in your life. We conquer the lies and deception of Satan as we speak truth: the Word of God. In Deuteronomy 6:7, God’s people were instructed to talk about the Word when they sit in their homes, when they walk by the way, when they lie down and when they rise up. We overcome the works of our enemy by continually speaking God’s Word and sharing our testimonies.

Empowered by Christ!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. — Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) The Amplified version says, I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD (Psalm 31:24). Empowered by Christ, you can conquer all!

Attitude of a Conqueror

But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. “Let’s go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!” Numbers 13:30 (NLT) After 12 of the Israelite leaders spent 40 days exploring the land the Lord had promised to give them, 10 of them came back with a bad report. Only Caleb & Joshua put their confidence in God and was ready to take the land. Forty years later they were the only two of the twelve that overcame and enjoyed their promised land. May we have the attitude of a conqueror and say, "we can certainly conquer the difficulties we face." We shall overcome and enjoy all that God has for us. Love, Jackie

Deeply at Peace

"I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world." John 16:33 (The Message) We are unshakable when we trust in the Lord. Even though we experience difficulties in this world, we can remain deeply at peace because we know the Lord will bring us through. Jesus has already conquered the world. Stick with Him and you shall overcome. Love, Jackie
