Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies. — Psalm 108:12-13 (NKJV) Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses (Psalm 107:19 NKJV). Instead of putting your trust and confidence in man to save you, call upon the LORD, in your time of trouble. When everyone else abandons you, the LORD will stand with you. The battle is not yours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15).

He always hears our, “LORD, help me!” prayers. As we journey through life, the storms will come, but praise God, He faithfully bring us through each and every one. Eventually, the raging waters that threatened to knock our boat over will be stilled. And the LORD will lead and guide us to our desired haven.

For when I am weak, then I am strong. — 2 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV) The Amplified Bible says: when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength). When we are weak, the strength of Christ works through us. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak Isaiah 40:29 (NIV). May you be strengthened in the Lord today!

A righteous person may fall seven times, but he gets up again. However, in a disaster wicked people fall. Proverbs 24:16 (GW) No matter how many times you may stumble and fall, get back up again. We can endure troubles, hardships and distresses because the LORD is our helper. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up (Hebrews 12:1, GW). James 1:4 tells us to let perseverance finish its work so that we may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. When life knocks you down, get back up again and never quit!
