However, the serpent got Eve to focus on the one thing they lacked, instead of the abundance that was freely given to them by God. (See Genesis 3:1-6) Yahweh is an extremely generous God. His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and virtue, (See 2 Peter 1:3). If it does not pertain to life, it is something that leads to death. Why pursue those things?  Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. There’s no cost—here, have some food, hearty and delicious, and beverages, pure and good. I don’t understand why you spend your money for things that don’t nourish or work so hard for what leaves you empty. Attend to Me and eat what is good; enjoy the richest, most delectable of things. We must continually come to Him, each and every day, and submit our lives to Him in daily devotion. He gives to us freely: life, freedom, peace, etc. In Matthew 16:24 (NKJV), Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” He invites all to come to Him. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. This water of life proceeds from the throne of God and of the Lamb. (See Revelation 22:1) The water He gives will become in us a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. — 1 John 4:10 (NLT) When many of us think of the word: SACRIFICE,  I believe, our first thought is “ What do I have to give up? ” Instead of loss, I encourage you to think about what we have actually GAINED because of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus: a more abundant life on earth and eternal life in His Presence. For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give. (Romans 8:32 TPT) Real love leads to sacrifice. For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends. Let your heart be molded by His love, gentleness, kindness and compassion. May it be filled with His peace, patience, goodness, and faithfulness. Receive the joy of His Presence. With our heart in the hands of the Potter, we will be the unique masterpiece He created each one of us to be.

But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. — Ephesians 2:13 (NASB) The nearness of God is our good... (Psalm 73:8). Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us. (Ephesians 2:18 NLT) We have been given 24-hour access to the throne room of God. That's better than backstage passes for your favorite artist/performer. This is more exciting than club or box seats at the football game of your choice. What an honor and privilege, that we can approach the throne of God with confidence. So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness. (Hebrews 4:16 TPT) Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. — Isaiah 55:6 (NASB)

If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?   The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. — Romans 8:32, 34 (MSG) What then shall we say to these things? I’m speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it’s important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. — 1 John 2:1 (NKJV) Jesus intercedes for us. He pleads our case with the Father. When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good—not only ours, but the whole world’s. (1 John 2:2 MSG) So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? In Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” He continually invites everyone to come to Him. It’s an open invitation, to come close and fellowship with Him. In Matthew 14:29, Jesus said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. Peter had an extraordinary experience because He was willing and took action to approach Jesus. May we get out of the comfort of our boat and walk on the water with Jesus. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. — John 6:37 (NKJV)

So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? — Romans 8:31-32 (MSG) No matter how difficult the battle you may be going through or how high the mountain before you, remember that our mighty God is on your side. As the Amplified Bible says: If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? (Romans 8:31) “ No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from Me, ” says the LORD . (Isaiah 54:17 AMP) Amen.

Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. — Revelation 22:17 (NKJV) Just as Adam and Eve did in the garden of eden, we often try to hide from God. However, we have an open invitation. Jesus always beckons us to come to Him. Let us remove the clutter from our lives and tear down the walls that keep us from drawing closer to our heavenly Father. May we come to Jesus with our hearts open wide and let the continual flow of His love flood our hearts and change our lives. Jesus said, “ All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. ” (John 6:37 NKJV)

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 (NLT) We can be strong and courageous because God is with us. Our battles belong to Him and He has the victory. So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?(Romans 8:31-32 MSG) And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. — Psalm 31:19 (NLT) The Word tells us God lavishes His great love on us (1 John 3:1 NIV) and His great goodness. Lavish means He gives it liberally, in generous or extravagant quantities, in abundance. Over the top! He also gave us His Holy Spirit that we might realize, comprehend and appreciate the gifts of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly bestowed on us by God (1 Corinthians 2:12). Let us thank God for all that He has so richly and generously bestowed upon us!

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. — Romans 5:5 (NKJV) See what great love the Father has lavished on us! (1 John 3:1). We have such a rich treasure in our earthen vessels, that is the Spirit of God and God is love. As He pours out His love in our hearts, we are to let His love flow freely through us and let it generously gush out, on everyone God brings our way. May we never limit our love and giving to a day or a season. Let’s lavish God's abundant and unconditional love on others, at all times!

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” — Mark 11:25-26 (NKJV) Whatever God has done for us, let us be gracious and do the same for others. Freely you have received, freely give (Matthew 10:8).

Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.  — John 7:37 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). In Revelation 21:5-7, Jesus said, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.” What a glorious future awaits us! Come to Jesus and drink freely from the fountain of living waters, for we shall overcome. Amen!

God did this so that we could fellowship with Him now and forever. Now Jesus is at the right hand of God interceding for us. With our mighty God on our side, no one can defeat us. No weapons formed against us will prosper. God loves us and is working for our good. Praise the LORD!
