“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be in dread or be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 (LSB) But now, thus says Yahweh, your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.” (Isaiah 43:1-2 LSB) Wherever you go today, remember Yahweh is with you. He is the great “I AM,” Creator of heaven and earth, the God Most High, above everything and everyone. No need to be afraid or dismayed. “The LORD your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.”   — Zephaniah 3:17 (NASB1995)

The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory belongs to the LORD.  — Proverbs 21:31  (NASB) Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. (2 Chronicles 20:15 NKJV) “But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the LORD’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the LORD is with you!” (2 Chronicles 20:17 NLT) “With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” (2 Chronicles 32:8 NKJV) Do not be discouraged because of the battles you face today. “And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” — Deuteronomy 31:8 (NKJV) Just as nothing can separate us from the love of God, nothing can separate us from His Presence. He promises to be with us forever. He is our guide and constant Companion as we journey through all seasons of life. He invites us to come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). In His Presence we have perfect peace. His Presence makes our joy complete. In His Presence, we have everything we need. Passionately pursue His Presence and He will enable you to fulfill His plan and purpose for your life.

They will fight against you, but they will not [ultimately] prevail over you, for I am with you [always] to protect you and deliver you,” says the LORD. — Jeremiah 1:19 (AMP) The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? (Psalm 118:6) When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19b) With us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles. The battle belongs to the LORD and He has already won. Hallelujah and amen! Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” — 1 Samuel 17:45 (NKJV) Goliath, the Philistine giant, challenged the armies of Israel for forty days. While the rest of the Israelites were dismayed and greatly afraid, David took a stand against his enemy. Instead of being fearful and intimidated, he activated his faith. He did not concern himself with the size of Goliath. David saw the situation from a higher viewpoint. He kept his eyes on God and trusted Him to deliver him from Goliath, just as God had delivered him in the past (1 Samuel 17:37). Thus says the LORD to you: “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” — 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NKJV) Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens (Psalm 68:19, NIV). Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you (1 Peter 5:7, NLT). With God on our side, who can stand against us? Our heavenly Father is the God of victories. Thank God who always leads us in triumph in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14)!

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NIV) No matter what comes your way, always remember, you are not abandoned. God's love will never run out on you. When you pass through the waters, the LORD will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you (Isaiah 43:2). “The LORD, He is the One who goes before you. The LORD upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down.  — Psalm 145:14 (NKJV) In Isaiah 41:10, the LORD says, “ Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” The LORD is our support. He is there to catch us if we fall. Our heavenly Father reaches down and lifts us out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire of life. He sets our feet on a rock and gives us a firm place to stand (Psalm 40:2). Amen!

“Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”  — 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NKJV) When the people of Judah were being pursued by their enemies, the LORD told them, the battle was not theirs. Are you trying to fight battles, God will fight for you? God's people were told to position themselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD (2 Chronicles 20:17). The LORD set ambushes against their enemies and they were defeated. If you want to be victorious in the battles you face, MAINTAIN your POSITION in the LORD. Be wherever He has directed you to be. Be humble and worship Him in all that you do (2 Chronicles 20:18). Stand by and see the LORD deliver you!

No weapon that has been made to be used against you will succeed. You will have an answer for anyone who accuses you. This is the inheritance of the LORD’s servants. Their victory comes from me,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 54:17 (GW) Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:14-18) and no weapon forged against you will prevail. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV) Do not be discouraged or disappointed, for the LORD, our God is with you. He will strengthen you and support you with His victorious right hand. Our help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). The battle belongs to the LORD. Our heavenly Father will help you. With the LORD on your side, who can stand against you? Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14)!

Realize that the LORD alone is God. He made us, and we are his. We are his people and the sheep in his care. Psalm 100:3 (GW) Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other (Deuteronomy 4:39). Do not be dismayed, for He is our God and we are His people. He will strengthen you and help you; He will uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10). Power and might belong to our God and He delivers us out of trouble. Our heavenly Father faithfully watches over us and keeps us in His constant care. Give thanks to the LORD and praise His holy name!
