(1 Timothy 6:17 NKJV) Instead of brooding over the past, take the steps today that are headed in the direction of where you want to be tomorrow. However, the reality is you have no idea where your life will take you tomorrow. You are like a mist that appears one moment and then vanishes another. (See James 4:14 VOICE) But those who die in the LORD will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead! (Isaiah 26:19 ...

Soon the people began to complain about their hardship, and the LORD heard everything they said. Then the LORD’s anger blazed against them, and he sent a fire to rage among them, and he destroyed some of the people in the outskirts of the camp. — Numbers 11:1 (NLT) Complaining is unproductive, and it spreads negativity into the atmosphere. Instead of complaining, grumbling and murmuring about momentary afflictions and trials, bless the everlasting God, at all times. Let His praise continually flow from your mouth. (See Psalms 34:1) Hope continually, and praise Him yet more and more. (See Psalms 71:14) May the fruit of our lips, give thanks to His name forevermore. (See Hebrews 13:15) Keep trusting Yahweh to work everything together for good as you patiently endure troubles, hardships and calamities of every kind. Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, ...

“Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!” — Psalms 27:14 (TPT) When we have hope in YAHWEH, we have a confident expectation that He is everything we need Him to be and that He will do everything He said He would do. It is an assurance that does not cave in, under pressure nor during challenging times. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (AMP) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21) What is good? Those who are loved by God, let his love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Lord, so many times I fail; I fall into disgrace. But when I trust in you, I have a strong and glorious presence protecting and anointing me. Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. — Psalm 54:4 (NASB) In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears. (Psalm 18:6 NASB) When the righteous cry [for help], the LORD hears and rescues them from all their distress and troubles. (Psalm 34:17 AMP) Amen! & Hallelujah! ‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. As Jesus taught His disciples about the signs of end times, He said: “ Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. ” — Matthew 24:12 (NLT) Needless to say, the signs of end times are upon us, but we are here for such a time as this. I implore you —don’t let your love for God or your love for people grow cold. According to 2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT) God gave us a spirit of love... Let us be like our heavenly Father. What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! (1 John 3:1 MSG) He keeps His covenant and shows unfailing love to all who walk before Him in wholehearted devotion. (1 Kings 8:23) First Peter 1:22 instructs the brethren to love one another fervently with a pure heart. The Message Bible says to love one another as if your lives depended on it. Keep the embers of your love on fire by abiding in the Presence of Almighty God, for love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:8). Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.   (Acts 2:21) Put your trust in His name. The name of Jesus is higher than any other name. Higher than any sickness or disease. His name is greater and carries more power than any mountain that stands before you. May we follow Jesus. His disciples trusted Him enough to leave their old ways behind. They chose to follow Jesus and pursue a more abundant life. What old ways are you willing to leave behind to follow Jesus? In John 12:36, Jesus said: “While you have the Light, believe and trust in the Light [have faith in it, hold on to it, rely on it], so that you may become sons of Light [being filled with Light as followers of God].”

The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV) The LORD is not a hard task master, and He is not sitting there waiting to beat you up every time you mess up. The devil is the one who condemns us. Our heavenly Father draws us to Himself with unfailing love and kindness. Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23). He forgives all your iniquities. He heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies. (Psalm 103:3-4) Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! (Psalm 103:1)

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 (NLT) We can be strong and courageous because God is with us. Our battles belong to Him and He has the victory. So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?(Romans 8:31-32 MSG) And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. (Romans 8:33 MSG)

The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. — Psalm 145:14 (NLT) Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help (Psalm 146:3 NKJV). How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, (Psalm 146:5 NASB). If you are bent over from the weight of the burden you are carrying on your shoulders, go to God for help. Cast all your cares and concerns upon Him for He cares for you. He is our help and our only hope!

Grow a wise heart—you’ll do yourself a favor; keep a clear head—you’ll find a good life.  — Proverbs 19:8 (MSG) Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. Everyone who obeys His commandments will grow in wisdom (Psalm 111:10). The Message version says: The good life begins in the fear of God. When we have the fear of the Lord, we honor, respect, value and reverence Him above anything or anyone else. That respect and adoration will draw us to align our actions with God's will. As we obey our Heavenly Father we will experience continual growth in spiritual wisdom and insight.  That is where we find the good life! Amen.

Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, — Hebrews 6:1 (NIV) The writer of Hebrews says, the believer’s were spiritually dull and didn’t seem to listen (Hebrews 5:11, NLT). They had been believers so long, they should have been teaching others. Instead, they needed someone to teach them again the basic things about God’s word. They were like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food (Hebrews 5:12). Solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil (Hebrews 5:14, NIV). Let us be spiritually sharp and alert so we can consistently use our will to persevere, overcome obstacles and press on to maturity!

“Be alert at all times. Pray so that you have the power to escape everything that is about to happen and to stand in front of the Son of Man.” — Luke 21:36 (GW) Be alert and of sober mind. Our enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Pray so that you may have power and strength to escape all the enemy brings your way. And you shall stand in victory!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJ) Glory to God, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly over and above all that we dare ask or think and infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams (Amplified). As we allow His power to work within us, He is well able to do immeasurably more than anything we ask or think. In other words, unlimited possibilities await us. If the mind can conceive it, God can achieve it. Know that we serve a big and mighty God. To Him be glory, honor and praise forever and ever!

Hear, O LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. Guard my life, for I am devoted to you. You are my God; save your servant who trusts in you. Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call to you all day long. Bring joy to your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul. Psalm 86:1-4 (NIV) Without God's help we are indeed poor and needy. Call to Him day and night because He is the One who preserves your life. Trust in Him and you will be saved. The Lord will hear your cry and be merciful unto you. And rejoice before the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name - you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, the Levites in your towns, and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows living among you. Deuteronomy 16:11 (NIV) In the Old Testament, God's people had to go to a physical place to meet with the LORD. In the above Scripture the Israelites were instructed to celebrate the Feast of Weeks to the LORD, wherever He chose to dwell.  Today,  the LORD has chosen to dwell in our hearts by His Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19 tells us, our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, whom we have received from God. We have much more reason to rejoice because of our constant fellowship with our heavenly Father, who loves us so very much. We don't have to journey to a specific location and meet with God at certain times of the year. We don't have to wait until Sunday morning and meet Him at church.
