For those who believe in Christ and receive Him as Savior and Lord, worship is to be a lifestyle. We are to walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls us into His own kingdom and glory. (See 1 Thessalonians 2:12) Worship happens as we recognize and acknowledge that Yahweh is the only true and living God, that He is the great “I AM,” full of power and glory. Now is the time for true worshipers to worship the God Most High, every moment of the day, with all of our hearts, with our actions and with the words we speak. It involves our total being, acknowledging the goodness and greatness of our awesome God and Creator. True worship means we approach the throne of God in humility and with reverence, and we are transparent, completely honest in confessing our sins with a genuinely repentant heart. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration .” (John 4:23-24 MSG) Worship is not a matter of religion, but relationship. Worship should not just take place on Sunday morning, it is to be continual. Worship begins in our hearts and fills our minds. Then it comes out of our mouths and directs our motion. O come, let us Adore Him!
