Manna for Your Morning

“I will put My Spirit in you and you will come to life, and I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and fulfilled it,” says the LORD.’”   — Ezekiel 37:12-14 (AMP)  Today, as believers we have the Spirit of the LORD living inside of us. Come to LIFE! The same power that raised Jesus from death to life dwells in us. We are not pitiful, but full of power and life. When we come to Jesus, He gives us a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10b NLT). We have overcome them, because He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. (1 John 5:4-5 NLT) “ For with God nothing will be impossible .” (Luke 1:37 NKJV)

The wicked man earns deceptive wages, but he who sows righteousness and lives his life with integrity will have a true reward [that is both permanent and satisfying]. — Proverbs 11:18 (AMP) Seek what is good (God is good) and sow righteousness. The LORD upholds and sustains the righteous [who seek Him]. (Psalm 37:23 AMP) He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, (Proverbs 11:27a).  Just as God has freely given to us, let us freely give. Sow love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness. Forgive those who hurt you. Comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. (2 Corinthians 1:4) We will truly be satisfied, as we allow ourselves to be channels for God's goodness to flow through us and into the lives of others. Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires. (Psalm 37:3-4 NLT)

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. — John 10:10 (NLT) Every minute the enemy can get you to worry about the future or feel guilty about the past is valuable time he has stolen away from you. The most precious gift we have at any given moment is to enjoy the Presence of our great God. In His Presence, we experience true peace and fullness of joy. As long as the enemy can get you to worry, be anxious or fearful, he has destroyed any chance of you living the rich and satisfying life Jesus came to give you. Worry is a distraction that drains the energy and passion you need to pursue and fulfill the wonderful purpose and plans God has for you. Let him who steals, steal no longer. Cast all your cares on the LORD and totally trust Him with every area of your life.

Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” — Matthew 27:22a (NKJV) What do you do with Jesus? Our very lives hang in the balance of how we answer that question. Do you praise Him in private, but are an invisible and silent partner when it comes to taking a stand for Him in public? Are you a believer or follower? Followers are believers, who follow up what they believe with action. Are you a spectator or imitator? Spectators never win because they never get involved in the game. (1 Corinthians 11:1). If you shut Jesus in a closet, for six days of the week, there is not much of an investment being made and the result is surface level, lukewarm living. (Revelation 3:16). When we live our lives for Jesus, out in the open, seven days a week, then we store up treasures in heaven and enjoy a deeper, richer and more satisfying life. I saw God before me for all time. Nothing can shake me; he’s right by my side. I’m glad from the inside out, ecstatic; I’ve pitched my tent in the land of hope. — Acts 2:25-26 (MSG) Pitch your tent in the land of hope: the Presence of the LORD. That is where you will not be shaken because He is right beside you. In His presence, He will fill you with joy and make known to you the paths of life (Acts 2:28). In the land of hope, He will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). In the land of hope, we experience a rich and satisfying life, to the full, till it overflows and touches the lives around us. In the land of hope, His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Glory hallelujah!

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.” — Matthew 6:34 (MSG) Jesus came to give us a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10 NLT), don’t waste today by trying to anticipate tomorrow’s troubles. Each day has enough trouble of its own. You don't know what will happen tomorrow, so rest and trust in the One who does. Focus on the great big things our mighty God is doing in your midst today!

The LORD will bless you and watch over you. The LORD will smile on you and be kind to you. The LORD will look on you with favor and give you peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-26 (GW) God does not show favoritism (Romans 2:11). He wants ALL people to be saved. And for all of His children to have life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:10), the kind of rich and satisfying life Jesus came to give us. The LORD watches over you wherever you go, for your good, not to harm you. He is working for you, not against you. May you experience the fullness of His favor and peace in your life, as you abide in JESUS!

Wait on the LORD,
 and keep His way, 
and He shall exalt you to inherit the land; 
When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.  — Psalm 37:34 (NKJV) Wait with hope for the LORD. His way is the only way to experience true success, everlasting peace, abiding joy and a rich, satisfying life. May we move onward when the Spirit of the LORD says, “move” and be still when He says, “stay.” Let us not get distracted and stray away from the way of the LORD. Amen!

So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:6-7 (NKJV) That first Christmas, when Christ was born, there was no room for them in the inn. Do you have room for the Lord in your heart today? Please, don't allow the cares of this world, the lure of wealth and desires for other things to inhabit your heart to the degree that you shut Jesus out. He loves you. Jesus came that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). And we only experience that full, rich and satisfying life as we abide in the King of kings and the Lord of lords, Jesus the Christ. Give Him all the glory!

And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. Romans 8:10 (NLT) If Christ lives within you, you have been made right with God and His Holy Spirit gives you life. He gives us a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10, NLT). Let us live in accordance with the Spirit, full of life, light, and love.
