“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.” — Isaiah 26:3-4 (NKJV) Yahweh will keep you in perfect and constant peace as you trust Him and take refuge in Him. “Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], for the LORD GOD is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].” (Isaiah 26:4 AMP)

So the dragon became enraged at the woman and went off to make war with the rest of her offspring—those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua. — Revelation 12:17 (TLV) You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. (2 Timothy 2:3-4 NKJV) Put on the full armor of God, so that you are able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist when the times are evil, and after you have done everything, to stand firm. and one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.” — Revelation 5:5 (NASB1995) The Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed! In the midst of tribulation, take courage because Jesus has overcome the world. (See John 16:33 NASB1995) In all situations, we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (See Romans 8:37 AMP) Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57 NASB1995)

Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything. — Psalms 46:10 (MSG) Cease striving, always trying to get somewhere or acquire something. Be still and acknowledge the Presence of our great and mighty God. He is El Elyon, the God Most High. He is above politics, above the doctor’s report, above the balance of your financial accounts, etc. Surrender your anxiety, doubts and worries to Him. Honor Him above all else. He is with you and He is able and faithful to provide everything you need. I will cry out to God Most High, to God who accomplishes all things for me. (Psalm 57:2) God is our shelter and our strength. When troubles seem near, God is nearer, and He’s ready to help. So why run and hide? No fear, no pacing, no biting fingernails. When the earth spins out of control, we are sure and fearless. When mountains crumble and the waters run wild, we are sure and fearless. Even in heavy winds and huge waves, or as mountains shake, ...

but if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him], and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin [by erasing the stain of sin, keeping us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]. — 1 John 1:7 (AMP) As followers of Jesus, the Messiah, we can enjoy continual companionship with the LORD, as we live our lives in the Light, being open, honest, and transparent. Let us walk through each day in alignment with the principles of our Heavenly Father, in our speech and with our actions. Christ is the faithful Friend who sticks closer than a brother. In fact, there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. (John 15:13 NLT) Jesus gave His life for us. In John 15:14, He said, “ You are my friends if you do what I command .”

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude — Psalm 46:1-3 (NLT) Our mighty God is a proven help in time of trouble. He is more than enough and always available. Just call upon Him. In the dark day of gloom and doom, His light still shines bright. Amen.

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God? — Psalm 42:1-2 (NASB) When we thirst for God, our souls will be fully satisfied. I was glad when they said to me, “ Let us go to the house of the LORD. ” (Psalm 122:1 NASB) God—you’re my God! I can’t get enough of you! I’ve worked up such hunger and thirst for God, traveling across dry and weary deserts. So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. In your generous love I am really living at last! My lips brim praises like fountains. I bless you every time I take a breath; My arms wave like banners of praise to you. (Psalm 63:1-4 MSG)

Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. — Psalm 37:4-5  (NKJV) Proverbs 28:26 (NLT) says, those who trust their own insight are foolish, but anyone who walks in wisdom is safe. It is wise for us to commit our way to the LORD. As you make your plans for the new year, do not rely on your own insight or understanding. Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. (Proverbs 16:3 AMP) You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail. (Proverbs 19:21 NLT) Submit to His will and His way and you will experience the good plans He has in store for you. Amen.

“The LORD is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul; “Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.” — Lamentations 3:24 (AMP) As we trust and fully rely on the LORD, we keep our hope alive and vibrant. Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalm 62:8 AMP) Our hope in God will not lead to disappointment, because our mighty God is faithful and trustworthy. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles (Psalm 34:17). It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. (Lamentations 3:24 NKJV)

And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. For thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the LORD sends rain on the earth.’” — 1 Kings 17:13-14 (NKJV) After the brook dried up, God instructed Elijah to go to the village of Zarephath, because He had instructed a widow there to feed him. (1 Kings 17:7-9). When Elijah came to the gate of the city, the widow was there gathering sticks. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience. — Luke 8:15 (NKJV) The bearing of fruit comes with patience. Once we receive the seed, the Word of God, on the good soil of our hearts, we need to develop patience as we wait for the fruit to appear. Just as the farmer waits [expectantly] for the precious harvest from the land, being patient about it, until it receives the early and late rains. (James 5:7 AMP) God’s Word will bear fruit in your life, whether it's the early or late rains, or both. His Word does not return to Him void. Keep watering the seed by speaking words of life over it and protect it from the enemy who wants nothing more than to steal the Word that has been sown in your heart. “But the seed in the good earth—these are the good-hearts who seize the Word and hold on no matter what, sticking with it until there’s a harvest.” (Luke 8:15 MSG) Stick with it! No matter...

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, — Job 38:1 (NKJV) In the midst of Job’s suffering: loss of material possessions, poor physical health, marital discord and grieving for his children, the LORD spoke to him. In the midst of your storm, listen carefully for God's voice. When we call upon Him, He will answer. The LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, (Nahum 1:3). No storm is too great for our mighty God!

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. — Philippians 4:8 (NKJV) Instead of focusing on the bad reports and negative news, let’s fix our minds on the good report. Jesus is the truth (John 14:6); anything that contradicts Jesus is a lie. Fill your minds with things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Where your mind goes, your emotions and will tend to follow.

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God, Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever,  — Psalm 146:5-6 (NKJV) Happy is the person who has learned to rely on the LORD for help. He or she can lay down and sleep in peace because they know their heavenly Father is always working for their good. And they realize that nothing is too difficult for God, the Maker of heaven and earth! He is a faithful Father who fulfills all His promises. Rejoice because He has already given us the victory and made us conquerors through our Lord Jesus Christ! (1 Corinthians 15:57) Don't worry, be happy!

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are quite small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever! So we don’t look at the trouble we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NLT) Don't give up! The troubles you see right now will soon be over. Look beyond the difficulties and see the VICTORY the Lord has prepared for you. Look forward to that which has yet to be seen, because we have a great big God, and He's doing great big things!

Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one's fellowmen, meeting all its requirements]. Romans 13:8 (Amp) Let us have no debt except the continuing debt we have to love one another. To practice love means it is not something we do sporadically, but consistently. And as we constantly carry out acts of love, it gets easier and we get better because the intrinsic rewards are so good. First John 4:16 says,God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in him. This is the way our love is made complete.

Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see— how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him. Psalm 34:8 (The Message) Take a moment to reflect on how good God has been to you. Think about how far He has brought you and all the things He has carried you through. God gave us the strength to endure those days that were absolutely unbearable, the times we no longer cared if we lived or died. God is so good. He is faithful and true.
