Manna for Your Morning

So I turned to the Lord God and looked to him for help. I prayed, pleaded, and fasted in sackcloth and ashes. —  Daniel 9:3 (GW) When Daniel learned from the Scriptures that Jerusalem was going to be in ruins, he turned to the Lord. Who do you turn to in time of need? Turn to the everlasting, Almighty God and look to Him for help. Before you put your trust in man, or medication, trust God.  In Daniel 10:12, an angel told the prophet, “God has heard everything that you said ever since the first day you decided to humble yourself in front of your God...” Humble yourself before our powerful God and pray and plead with Him.

I cry out to the Lord; I plead for the Lord’s mercy. I pour out my complaints before him and tell him all my troubles. When I am overwhelmed, you alone know the way I should turn. Wherever I go, my enemies have set traps for me. Psalm 142:1-3 (NLT) Tell the Lord all your troubles. When you are overwhelmed, plead for His mercy and grace. The ear of the Lord is attuned to hear your cry. Only our omniscient God knows the way you should go and He will direct you around any traps your enemy has set.
