In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. His Ways are Higher

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” — Isaiah 55:9 (NKJV) Matthew 6:10 reads: Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Before Jesus endured the cross, He prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done .” (Luke 22:42) That Friday before the resurrection, the situation did not look too good, but resurrection day came and Jesus sat down at the right hand of the throne of God, full of glory and majesty. God has a master plan and everything He does, is glorious, spectacular, and awe-inspiring. Instead of trying to force our own way, may we trust in the LORD with all our hearts, and lean not on our own understanding.
