For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence. — Psalm 21:6 (NKJV) If we have allowed the enemy to steal our joy, we have probably been focusing on our problems instead of His Presence. Instead of external circumstances being the thermometer of our joy, may we continually draw our greatest joy from the presence of the LORD's Holy Spirit who dwells in us. And do not be worried, for the joy of the LORD is your strength and your stronghold. (Nehemiah 8:10 AMP) He is the stability of our lives. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. (Psalm 16:11 NLT)

Dwell in His Presence

Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence. — Psalm 140:13 (NKJV) Let us dwell in the Presence of the LORD. Surely, there is no better place to abide. In Psalm 139:7, the psalmist asks, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?” My question is why would anyone want to turn away from the awesome honor and privilege we have to abide in His precious Presence? In His presence is fullness of joy; (Psalm 16:11). He makes us exceedingly glad with His presence. (Psalm 21:6). His Presence is comforting and soothing to our spirits, souls and bodies. His Presence is loving, gentle, and full of peace. In His Presence, we find strength to persevere, no matter what. The mountains that stand before you today, will melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. (Psalm 97:5) Only in His Presence, can we gain a proper perspective. Let us come before His presence with tha...

Got Joy?

“ …Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength! ” — Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) As we fight the good fight of faith, we need strength to overcome the obstacles that come our way. Staying filled with the joy of the LORD is our greatest strength. Don’t let the enemy steal your joy. If you are running low on joy, you can be made exceedingly glad with His presence. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful shout to the LORD. In His Presence our hearts are filled with joy. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11 NKJV)

For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence. — Psalm 21:6 (NKJV) When we focus our attention on the presence of the LORD and give His Holy Spirit access to every area of our being, we become exceedingly glad. He makes us full of joy in His presence. (Acts 2:28 & Psalm 16:11). In the light of His Presence, darkness has to flee, bondages are broken and strongholds are destroyed. In His presence, our mourning turns into dancing (Psalm 30:11). The mountains that stand before us, become molehills when we look to our Mighty God, and remember that He is with us. The battle belongs to our great God and He is well able to establish all that concerns you. That is cause for exceeding gladness to well up inside of us! Don’t let the enemy steal your joy. The joy of the LORD is your strength.

For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence. — Psalm 21:6 (NKJV) We are most blessed because we have been brought into the family of Almighty God and called children of God. We have the benefit of enjoying His Presence every moment of our lives. In His Presence we find gladness that exceeds our capacity to contain it, so we can let the overflow splash into the lives of those around us. His Presence brings us joy, when we realize that nothing can stand against us, as we abide in Him.

Exceedingly Glad!

For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence.  — Psalm 21:6 (NKJV) The privilege of just being in the LORD's Presence is a source of extreme joy. Psalm 16:11 says, in His presence is fullness of joy. We can have this joy and hold onto it all the days of our lives, because the LORD is always with us. Complete joy can fill our hearts because of our salvation. God chose us to fellowship with Him forever! We get to spend eternity in the Presence of our heavenly Father. That is indeed, something to rejoice about. It was the joy that was set before Him, that allowed Jesus to endure the cross (Hebrews 12:2). Like everything else that comes from the Father, joy is a gift. He has given it unto us. We must open our hearts and minds to receive the gift of gladness and let it infiltrate our very beings.
