(See Matthew 24:13) God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. Joseph was still in his palace when Judah and his brothers arrived, and they fell to the ground before him. — Genesis 44:14 (NLT) Joseph was in “his” palace. Only a great and mighty God can take someone from a pit, to a prison, and then to a palace. Hallelujah! God sent him ahead of his family to preserve their lives. (See Genesis 45:5) Joseph was in a position to give his father and brothers the very best land in Egypt. (See Genesis 45:18) Don’t despair when others do you wrong. For the LORD knows the plans He has for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) He causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (See Romans 8:28 NLT) Our great God is a God of restoration. He is able to restore what the enemy has stolen, and give you twice as much, like He did with Job. (See Job 42:10) He is able to turn your mourning into joy and make you rejoice afte...

Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come closer to me.” And they came closer. And he said, “I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt. Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.” — Genesis 45:4-5 (NASB1995) When it seems like your life is in the pits, keep trusting Yahweh. If those closest to you betray you, keep trusting God, and do not harbor any ill will toward anyone. Even if you are imprisoned, God has not forgotten about you. He will work it all together for good, for those who love Him. Through all of our challenges, God is equipping us and getting us in proper position, which will lead to the preservation of life, our own, as well as the lives of others. So, trust in the Lord completely , and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. (See Proverbs 3:5 TPT) Seek his will in all you do, and he will show ...

Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing. — James 1:2-4 (AMP) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; (John 10:10a NASB) The enemy will do anything to steal your joy. Don’t let him take what your Heavenly Father has given to you. As believers, we dwell in the Kingdom of God, and His Kingdom is about righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17) So, fight the good fight of faith, and endure to the end. Remember: Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (See 1 John 4:4) And Yeshua has already gained the victory for us.

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it! ” — Genesis 28:16 (NLT) In Genesis 28:15 (AMP), God said to Jacob in a dream: “ Behold, I am with you and will keep [careful watch over you and guard] you wherever you may go …” God is with His people today. Always remember that the Presence of the LORD is with you. When we have a constant awareness of His Presence with us, we will experience continual peace and joy. There will be a continual draw on His unlimited strength and power. And we will remain confident that with God, ALL things are possible.

For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. — Romans 6:4 (NLT) Followers of Christ are empowered to walk in the freshness of new life, and live in union with Jesus. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. (Romans 6:7-8 NLT) So don’t you see that we don’t owe this old do-it-yourself life one red cent. There’s nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God’s Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go! (Romans 8:12-14 MSG) … let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. — Ephesians 4:23-24 (NLT)

I am standing in absolute stillness, silent before the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for him to rescue me. Only God is my Savior, and he will not fail me. — Psalm 62:5 (TPT) I stand silently to listen for the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me. For God alone has become my Savior. He alone is my safe place; his wrap-around presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me? (Psalm 62:1-2 TPT) For God alone my soul waits in silence and quietly submits to Him, for my hope is from Him. (Psalm 62:5 AMP) Stand strong and still in full expectation that our heavenly Father will fulfill every promise He has made.

So David came to Baal-perazim, and he defeated them there, and said, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” So he named that place Baal-perazim (master of breakthroughs). — 2 Samuel 5:20 (AMP) Our Mighty God is the Master of Breakthroughs. He breaks through the darkness, with His marvelous light. He will break through our brokenness with His strength and power. He breaks through fear and timidity with faith and boldness. He shatters hatred, with His amazing love and grace. He breaks through bitterness, with sweet joy. He breaks through sickness and disease with His healing power. Where there is death and defeat, He gives us life and victory! Believe God and His Word and experience the bountiful life He has designed for you. When we try to confine Him in a little box, with our small expectations, He bursts through because He is a BIG God and nothing is too difficult for Him. Amen & Hallelujah!

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. — Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB) In Genesis 3:8, Adam and Eve tried to hide themselves from the presence of the LORD God. At times, we may try to hide from God, but praise the LORD, our heavenly Father never hides from us! When we wholeheartedly seek Him, He promises that we will find Him. The Amplified Bible says, “ Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ” (Jeremiah 29:13) May we require Him as a vital necessity, and never stray away. Let the deep longing of your heart be for His Presence. The Message Bible says, “ When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed. ” (Jeremiah 29:13)

Surely righteous people are praising your name; the godly will live in your presence. — Psalm 140:13 (NLT) In Genesis 3:8, Adam and Eve heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden, and they hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. And Jonah tried to flee from the presence of the LORD (Jonah 1:3). The biggest mistake and most futile effort we could ever make is to try to hide or flee from the Presence of our great God. Without God’s help we are destined for failure. As children of God, we can praise His name because we have the most amazing opportunity and privilege to live in His precious Presence. In the shelter of the Most High there is protection and provision, and He lavishes His love upon us. In His Presence, His mighty power enables us to overcome the forces of evil and live in freedom and victory. In His Presence, we have a peace that cannot be moved by earthly circumstances. He fills us with joy in His presence. (Acts 2:2...

“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.” — John 12:27-28 (NKJV) Even when the soul of Jesus was troubled, He stayed focused on completing the Father’s mission and glorifying His name on the earth. We are here for such a time as this. Let us be purpose-driven, not for our own purpose and pleasures, but focused on our heavenly Father’s purpose. Let us live our lives in such a way that gives Him glory. We have come to this day, time and place because God has a purpose for us to fulfill. He woke you up this morning because He has something for you to do. Even in times of testing, trials, and troubles, there is a reason and God will get the glory. Amen!

For by their own sword they did not possess the land, and their own arm did not save them, but Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence, for You favored them. — Psalm 44:3 (NASB) Without the help of the LORD, we can make no worthy gains. Victory comes with His strong arm, His mighty Presence and His divine favor. The LORD blesses the righteous and surrounds them with His favor (Proverbs 5:12). His favor lasts a lifetime (Psalm 30:5). Praise the LORD for His help and His favor. We make real gains, in this life, when we allow His hand to lead us, guide us, protect us and make a way for us. Amen!

I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. — Romans 12:1 (AMP) Let us dedicate our bodies to God, as living sacrifices. May we unplug our affections to the world and separate ourselves unto God that we might be well-pleasing to Him. This is a reasonable manner to serve the kingdom of God and give glory to our King, Christ Jesus! Amen.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, — Ephesians 2:19 (NKJV) As children of God, our heavenly Father wants us to dwell in His house. He wants to spend time with us. Don't be like the prodigal son and leave the Father’s house in search of something better, only to find there is nothing. There is no greater love, no greater peace or no greater joy, than what the Father has for us, in Jesus. We go out to the world each day to perform our God given assignments and to bring back the lost, downcast and broken, that we find along the way. But never forget where you live, where you belong Child of God...in your Father's house!

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. — Matthew 6:34 (NIV) Worry is borrowing trouble from tomorrow. Our heavenly Father knows what you need before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8). So stop worrying and pay attention to what God is doing right now in the present. In this world we will have trouble, but Jesus said, “be of good cheer,” because He has overcome the world (John 16:33). Amen!

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:4-5 (NLT) The world around us is under the control of the evil one (1 John 5:19), but children of God have His Spirit within and His Spirit in us is greater than the devil who is in the world. We win this battle against the world by believing that Jesus is the Son of God and inviting Him to come into our hearts. Through our faith, we overcome the world. Remember: we have the victory! May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he'll do it! 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (The Message) We have been called and chosen by our heavenly Father, and He is completely dependable. If we fall, He is there to catch us. He does not sleep and he doesn't slumber. Even if we are unfaithful, He remains faithful (2 Timothy 2:13, NLT). We can be confident that He will do what He says. Every word that goes forth from His mouth accomplishes the purpose for which He sends it (Isaiah 55:11). Trust God and stand on His Word. Love, Jackie

May those of us who claim to be Christian, return to the LORD with all of our hearts.
