Love prospers when we forgive the failures of others, and don't highlight their faults. The Message Bible says, love doesn’t keep score of the sins of others. (2 Corinthians 13:5) “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history.” (Isaiah 43:18 MSG) Philippians 3:13, says to forget those things which are behind and look forward to what lies ahead. Let us imitate our Heavenly Father. He forgives all our sins.. (Psalm 103:3) As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. — Psalm 103:12 (NKJV)

She looked back, and became a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26). God gives us brand new mercies every morning because He is doing a brand new thing. If we expect God to do things the way He has done them in the past, we are trying to box Him in. Dear brothers and sisters, let’s focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. May we press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. (Philippians 3:13-14 NLT).
