He is Good!

Image
Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see— how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him. — Psalm 34:8 (MSG) Delight yourself in the LORD, every moment of your day. Don’t just listen to what others know about Him, experience His goodness firsthand, up close and personal. In spite of the troubles that come,  you can remain confident that you will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13) May our eyes be open to see His goodness each and every day He wakes us up. “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth” (Exodus 34:6 NKJV) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm 107:31 NKJV)

Merciful, Gracious & Good

And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth…” — Exodus 34:6 (NKJV) The LORD our God is full of mercy and grace. His mercies for us are brand new every morning. (Lamentations 3:23). They never cease. We have forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7). He suffers long with us. Just as parents hurt when their children go down the wrong path, God wants what is best for His children and it hurts His heart to see us choose the wrong path, but He is patient with us. And He waits with His arms open wide. He waits for us to turn and come back to Him and take the path He has for us, so He can lead us to still waters and green pastures. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! (1 Chronicles 16:34a). The LORD abounds in goodness. Psalm 27:13 promises that we will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. If you want what is good, cling to yo...

Hear What God Speaks

Image
I will hear what God the LORD will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly. — Psalm 85:8 (NKJV) Listen carefully to what the LORD speaks. Turn a deaf ear to the noise of other voices. The enemy speaks lies, but our God is full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth (Psalm 86:15). He speaks peace and love to His people. He will rejoice over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:14). He will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go (Psalm 32:8). Listen to Him!

Fruitful in Every Good Work

Image
...that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; — Colossians 1:10-11 (NKJV) May we walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, that pleases Him in every way. Refuse to let a worldly, hostile environment corrupt your God-honoring behavior and joyful attitude. Let us continually grow in our knowledge of God and experience a deeper, increasing intimacy with Him. Then we will be fruitful in every good work we undertake, in every area of our lives: spiritual, physical, financial, relationships, etc. May we be strengthened with His power that resides inside of us and enables us to endure and persevere ALL things, as we hold onto the everlasting joy of the Lord. Amen!

Merciful & Gracious!

And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, — Exodus 34:6 (NKJV)  The LORD is abundant in mercy to all who call upon Him (Psalm 86:5). His mercy holds us up when we slip (Psalm 94:18). It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed (Lamentations 3:22, AMP). The LORD is gracious in all His works (Psalm 145:17). From His abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another (John 1:16, AMP). And He is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you may have an abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). Let’s proclaim His name throughout the earth!

Great is God's Goodness!

Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man? The goodness of God endures continually.  — Psalm 52:1 (NKJV) The LORD, the LORD God, is merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth (Exodus 34:6). He forgives all your iniquities, heals all your diseases, redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies (Psalm 103:3-4). The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy (Psalm 103:8). Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for great is His goodness toward us!
