Manna for Your Morning

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever! — Psalms 30:11-12 (NLT) Let us sing praises to Yahweh and give thanks to Him, in all circumstances. We can show others the goodness of God, for he called us out of the darkness into his wonderful light. (See 1 Peter 2:9 NLT) I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalms 27:13 NKJV) And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28 AMP)

“Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.” Selah — Psalms 66:1-4 (NKJV) “Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard, Who keeps our soul among the living, and does not allow our feet to be moved.” (Psalms 66:8-9 NKJV) Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Yahweh be magnified!” (Psalms 40:16 LSB)  

Praise the LORD! How joyful are those who fear the LORD and delight in obeying his commands. Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever. Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous. — Psalms 112:1-4 (NLT) Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. (Proverbs 3:7 NKJV) Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. A happy heart is good medicine and a joyful mind causes healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. — Proverbs 17:22 (AMP) Proverbs 17:22 (NLT) says: …a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is our strength (See Nehemiah 8:10 NLT) He gives us the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. (See Isaiah 61:3) But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. (Psalm 5:11 NLT) I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. — Isaiah 61:10 (NASB1995)

  “Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!” — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) When our resources are limited, or all together lacking, we are presented with an opportunity to humble ourselves and thank Yahweh for being our true source. James 1:2 (NLT) says: Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. We can rejoice knowing that our Heavenly Father is good. He has an unlimited supply and He is faithful to provide all that we need. Let us be joyful in the God of our salvation, at all times! Amen.

May all who are godly rejoice in the LORD and praise his holy name! — Psalm 97:12 (NLT) Psalm 68:3 (NLT) says to let the godly rejoice and be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy. In His Presences is fullness of joy. (See Psalm 16:11 NKJV) Not half-filled or almost filled, but filled to overflowing. If you lack joy, spend some more time in His Presence. Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. Interlude Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign LORD rescues us from death. (Psalm 68:19-20 NLT) When should we be glad? First Thessalonians 5:16 (NLT) says, always be joyful. Regardless of the external circumstances, may we our hearts be forever full of gratitude and appreciation for all that YAHWEH has provided, and even more so, for the great and awesome God that He is.  This is the day which the LORD has made. Instead of listening to the dismal details of daily world events, bring healing to your mind by keeping it stayed on the LORD and the glorious destiny He has for you. (See Isaiah 26:3) Keep your mind joyful by remembering all the good things the LORD has done for you. He woke us up this morning and gave us fresh new mercies. He forgives all our sins, and heals all our diseases; He redeems our lives from the pit, and crowns us lavishly with lovingkindness and tender mercy. (See Psalm 103:3-4 AMP) Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! (Psalm 32:11 NKJV) “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” (See Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV) Let us serve the LORD our God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything.  The humble ...

He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights. — Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NLT) In the worst moments of our lives, we can still worship our Heavenly Father and rejoice in His Presence. In all of our struggles and times of suffering, the most High God is our greatest comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles... (2 Corinthians 1:4) Amen.

A joyful, cheerful heart brings healing to both body and soul. But the one whose heart is crushed struggles with sickness and depression. — Proverbs 17:22 (TPT) A joyful heart is a heart that has learned to rely on and trust in the Most High God, His Word, His wisdom, and His ways. Instead of carrying around the burdens of this world, cast your cares on the LORD and experience the fullness of joy we have in His Presence. Do not be worried, for the joy of the LORD is our strength! (Nehemiah 8:10) A cheerful disposition is good for your health; gloom and doom leave you bone-tired. — Proverbs 17:22 (MSG)

Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God]. — Proverbs 29:18 (AMP) Having a vision keeps us from looking back, and propels us forward, with purposeful intention. Following God’s Word keeps us on the right path, the path of life. The Message Bible says: If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. (Proverbs 29:18) Let us pay attention to what God is doing and follow His guidance. When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful. — Proverbs 29:18 (NLT)

Start with God—the first step in learning is bowing down to God; only fools thumb their noses at such wisdom and learning. — Proverbs 1:7 (MSG) The first step in learning to live a truly abundant, peaceful and joyful life is in surrendering it all to God. It all begins with God, the one who created us; the one who knit us together in our mother’s womb. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. (Psalm 95:6a NIV) Bow down in acknowledgement that He is Almighty God, without Him nothing came into existence. He is our source. We are under His care. He is our provider. Bow down in worship with a grateful heart. He woke you up this morning and poured out new mercies and compassions on you. Worship Him for Who He is. Be thankful for all He has done and is doing in your life. Start your day by seeking God, His guidance and His wisdom.

So Jesus said to the twelve [disciples], “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Simon Peter answered, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You [alone] have the words of eternal life [you are our only hope].” — John 6:67-68 (AMP) As we depend upon Him, we live a peaceful life. When we daily walk with Him, we can have a joyful life. As we follow Him, and abide in His Word, we will live a victorious life. We were created to live and move and have our being in Him. (Acts 17:28) He leads us along the path of life. To whom shall we go? “ We have believed and confidently trusted, and [even more] we have come to know [by personal observation and experience] that You are the Holy One of God [the Christ, the Son of the living God]. ” (John 6:69 AMP)

A person’s anxiety will weigh him down, but an encouraging word makes him joyful. — Proverbs 12:25 (GW) God’s Word is the most encouraging Word of all. Philippians 4:6 (NKJV) tells us to be anxious for nothing. Instead of fretting, let us hide the Word of God in our hearts. (Psalm 119:11) His Word is practical and very powerful. It is the truth that stands forever. (Psalm 119:160) The Word is packed with promises. It is our comfort in affliction and it gives us life. (Psalm 119:50)  It revives our souls. (Psalm 119:25) Great peace have those who love His law, and nothing causes them to stumble. (Psalm 119:165) His Word gives us strength (Psalm 119:28). The entrance of His words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. (Psalm 119:130) His word is a lamp to guide our feet and a light for our path. (Psalm 119:105 NLT) It shows us the way to fulfill God’s purpose and good plan for our lives. Delight yourself in His statutes. (Psalm 119:16)

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) Habakkuk is saying that no matter how bad his outer circumstances appeared, he was not going to allow them to stop him from praising God. When your situation looks hopeless, do not fret, and have no worries, continue to rejoice in the God of our salvation. Surely, no situation is too difficult for the LORD to handle. With our great God all things our possible.

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. — James 1:2-4 (NLT) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you (1 Peter 4:12 NLT). The more troubles we experience, the more opportunities we have for great joy to abound in our hearts and minds. In addition, the joy of the LORD is your strength. And joy is contagious, when you are joyful, that joy is released into the atmosphere and those around you also benefit. So, take joy in knowing that you are in a process of perfection and that God who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it.

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. — Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV) Your mood, and your actions, and the words that come out of your mouth, will follow what you think about the most. If you constantly think about what you don’t have, you are calling lack into your life. If you always find something to worry about, you will be full of anxiety and despair. However, if your thoughts are fixed on the LORD, that is where your trust will be and, He will keep you in perfect peace. (Isaiah 26:3). When you remember all the benefits we have in the LORD, you will have a grateful attitude, a joyful heart and a cheerful disposition.

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) No matter how bad circumstances may appear, we can rejoice because we have the greater One living inside of us. In His Presence, we have all that we need. His power enables us to overcome every challenge. When situations seem impossible, He goes before us and makes a way. Praise God for His Presence in our lives.

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) When circumstances appear utterly hopeless, we can still rejoice in the God of our salvation, our protector and provider, knowing that He is working all things together for our good. God’s sovereign rule will prevail in your life. The LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm (Nahum 1:3), and in any other adverse situation you face. He makes a way where there is no way. Amen!

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: surely God has appointed the one as well as the other, so that man can find out nothing that will come after him. — Ecclesiastes 7:14 (NKJV) Regardless of the circumstances, this is the day the LORD has made. All of our days were written in His book before one of them came to be, so let us make the most of every moment. The present is what we have been given to work with. We cannot change the past and we do not know what tomorrow will bring. Therefore, seize every opportunity to follow God's purpose and plan for your life.

Now therefore listen to me, O you sons; for blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, and do not refuse or neglect it. — Proverbs 8:32-33 (AMP) If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you (James 1:5 NIV). Be wise and listen to the LORD’s instruction and direction. Joyful are those who listen to me [Wisdom], awake and watch for me each morning, alert and responsive (Proverbs 8:34). For whoever finds Wisdom finds life and receives favor from the LORD (Proverbs 8:35). Wisdom calls. Will you answer?
