Praise YAHWEH

Image
Oh give thanks to Yahweh, call upon His name; Make known His acts among the peoples. Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Muse on all His wondrous deeds. — 1 Chronicles 16:8-9 (LSB) Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods. Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and gladness are in His place. (1 Chronicles 16:23-25, 27 NKJV) Tell others about the good things He has done. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. (See Revelation 12:11) Give to the LORD, O families of the peoples, give to the LORD glory and strength. Give to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. The world also is firmly established, it shall not be moved. (1 Chronicles 16:28-30...

Trust Confidently

Image
But as for me, I trust [confidently] in You and Your greatness, O LORD; I said, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hands; Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who pursue and persecute me. — Psalms 31:14 (AMP) May we confidently trust in our heavenly Father, at all times, without wavering. For Yahweh is a great God and a great King above all gods, in whose hand are the depths of the earth, the peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it, and His hands formed the dry land. (Psalms 95:3-5 LSB) Nothing is too difficult for Him. …great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. (Psalms 96:4 NASB1995) He is great and does wondrous works! He alone is God (see Psalms 86:10 AMP), the only true and living God.  O LORD of hosts, how blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. — Psalms 84:12 (...

“Be Still”

Image
“ Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth. ” — Psalm 46:10 (AMP) “Be calm in every circumstance and situation, and understand that He is the great “I AM.” The only true and living God. Nothing is too difficult for the God Most High. Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! Let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the LORD! (Psalm 106:48 NLT)  Stop striving for the things of this world and consider the wondrous works of Elohim. So also, golden splendor comes from the mountain of God. He is clothed in dazzling splendor. We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us. No wonder people everywhere fear him. All who are wise show him reverence.” (Job 37:22-24 NLT) It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. (Lamentations 3:22 AMP) “ Sur...

Watch Your Words

Image
And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?” — Luke 24:17 (NKJV) These two disciples were sad because they were discussing how Jesus had been condemned to death, and crucified. Our words will effect our moods. Acts 2:26 (NKJV) says, my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope. A glad tongue speaks of the good things God is doing and then the flesh can rest and be full of hope. Let us be mindful of the words we speak. Philippians 2:14-15 (NKJV) says, do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. The Israelite people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the LORD, and when he heard them his anger was aroused (Numbers 11:1a NIV). Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with sa...

We Give Thanks!

Image
We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near. — Psalm 75:1 (NKJV) It is good to give thanks to the LORD (Psalm 92:1). First Thessalonians 5:18 instructs us, to give thanks in everything, no matter what the circumstances may be; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. In Luke 17:16, only one of the ten lepers that Jesus healed, returned, fell down on his face at His feet, and gave Him thanks (Luke 17:16). Remember all the wondrous works God is doing in your midst. And be the one who returns to give Him thanks!
