Manna for Your Morning

However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. — Luke 5:15  (NKJV) In Luke 5:1, the multitude pressed about Jesus to hear the word of God. May we not draw back but press in to hear His Word. A touch from Jesus, the Living Word, brings healing and wholeness. In Luke 5:12, a man full of leprosy saw Jesus, fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “ Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean .” Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “ I am willing; be cleansed. ” Immediately the leprosy left him. (Luke 5:13) Know that Jesus is able and willing to meet your need today.

Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well. — Mark 6:56 (NKJV) When we reach out and touch Jesus, our lives are transformed. He is able to bring back to life, that which is dead. When we make contact with Jesus, our mighty Savior, we are made well. As we let the Holy Spirit work in us, we can recieve emotional and physical healing. Don’t just settle for a touch. Seek to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of your life (Psalm 27:4). As you spend time with Him, He will exchange your anxiety with everlasting peace. His perfect love will cast out fear (1 John 4:18). Doubt will flee and faith and trust will grow. Jesus will remove a spirit of heaviness and give you joy. If you are weary, He will give you strength. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinite...

...behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” — Matthew 9:18 (NKJV) When Jesus went in and took the ruler’s daughter by the hand, the girl arose. (Matthew 9:25)  When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened… (Matthew 9:27, 29-30) In Matthew 8:14-15, Jesus saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them. A touch from Jesus makes dead things, come alive again. Those with blind eyes are able to see again, after a touch of His hand. His touch brings healing, strength and restoration. What or who in your life needs to be touched by Jesus? The Amplified Bible reminds us that we bear the consequences of the words we speak. In Matthew 9:20-21, the woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind Jesus and touched the fringe of his garment, for she said to herself , “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.” She received her healing. What are you saying to yourself? In Luke 7:7, the centurion told Jesus, “I did not even consider myself worthy to come to You, but j ust say the word , and my servant will be healed.” In Luke 7:10, his servant was found in good health. Speak words of life, and lives will be changed. James 3:9-10 says, with our tongues we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God; from the same mouth come both bl...

Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. — Psalm 73:23-24 (NLT) Each and every day God wakes us up, He has a purpose and  a plan for us to accomplish. Each day has a destiny, a desired end result and as we continually follow Him, He will get us there. May the words we speak today and whatever we do, touch the lives of others with the love of God. Make each stroke of the paintbrush you put on the canvas of today a reflection of the beauty and grace of our heavenly Father. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass (Psalm 37:5 NKJV).

And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” — Luke 13:11-12 (NKJV) As Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, He sees this woman in need and stops to tend to her. Know that Jesus sees you too. You are important to Him. Your well-being matters. It is His loving, compassionate nature to relieve people of their suffering. We may be physically, emotionally or spiritually bent over —beaten down by depression, shackled with shame, etc. We are unable to raise ourselves up, that’s why Jesus came to set us free. After 18 years of suffering, Jesus laid His hands on this woman, and immediately she was healed! (Luke 13:13). No matter how long you have been suffering, Jesus sees you and He is calling you to come to Him. Receive a touch from the Lord of lords and be healed today. Amen!

In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. — Psalm 5:3 (NIV) Some people expected to touch the hem of the Lord’s garment and they were made perfectly well (Matthew 14:36). The centurion requested Jesus just speak a word and his servant was healed (Matthew 8:8, 8:13). He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20 NIV). What is your level of expectancy? “You will never rise above your highest level of expectation.” —Pastor Jeff T. Osborne. When you have done all you can do, look to the LORD and wait expectantly. My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him (Psalm 62:5 NKJV).

When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. — Mark 5:27-29 (NKJV) This woman had an issue of blood for twelve years. She suffered many things from doctors, and spent all that she had, but her condition only grew worse. (Mark 5:25-26) When she came to the end of her worldly wealth, she tapped into the true treasures of the kingdom of God and received her healing. Don’t let Jesus be your last resort. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

‘Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the LORD of hosts. — Haggai 2:4 (NKJV) Faith without works is dead (James 2:26). The rubber meets the road, in the life of a believer, when we take what we have learned and touch the lives of those around us, when we bring light into their darkness. God is with us and enables us to do all He has called us to. In Luke 8:21, Jesus said, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” Be strong & do the work God has given you to do.

And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God], — Ezekiel 11:19 (AMP) A stony heart is a stubborn heart that insists on doing things it's own way. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are a new creation and we receive a new heart. We receive an undivided heart of flesh, that is full of life, and the power of God's Holy Spirit. May we submit our minds and our flesh, to this new heart that stays sensitive and responsive to God's touch.

Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help. — Hebrews 4:14-16 (The Message) Jesus is our compassionate High Priest. He is able to sympathize with our weaknesses. Jesus is in touch with everything that we go through. He has restored us back into a right relationship with God, that of Father and son or daughter, and has given us access to His kingdom. Why try to do it on your own when you can accept the help we have in Christ Jesus?

He was teaching in one of the meeting places on the Sabbath. There was a woman present, so twisted and bent over with arthritis that she couldn't even look up. She had been afflicted with this for eighteen years. When Jesus saw her, he called her over. "Woman, you're free!" He laid hands on her and suddenly she was standing straight and tall, giving glory to God. — Luke 12:10-13 (The Message) When this woman who had been crippled by a spirit of infirmity  for eighteen years received a touch from Jesus, she immediately straightened up, and praised God. Whatever your affliction, Jesus is calling your name. Draw near to the Lord and receive a touch from Him today. He will set you free! Stand up straight and tall and give glory to God!

A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. — Matthew 8:2-3 (NIV) The hand of Jesus reaches out to you today. There is healing power in His hand. Jesus is willing to help you in EVERY area of your life. Kneel down before the Lord and let Him touch you. If you need, strength, healing, cleansing, deliverance, etc., Jesus is able and willing! Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Jesus is caring and compassionate and He doesn't change. Do you need a touch from Jesus today?

When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. Mark 5:25-29 (NKJ) Some days I feel like this woman, just pushing through everything that crowds around me in the course of a busy day, trying to grasp onto the hem of the Lord's robe. I know once I make that divine connection and tap into the unlimited resources of Jesus, I will be made whole and all will be well with my soul. Like this woman, we suffer much in this world and sometimes things only seem to get worse, but Jesus said, “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world...
