Cling to Your Faith

Image
“ Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. ” — 1 Timothy 1:19 (NLT) “Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.” (1 Timothy 4:1-2 NLT)  But as men and women of God, let us fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you... (See 1 Timothy 6:12 NLT) “For, at just the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of all kings and Lord of all Lords.” (1 Timothy 6:15 NLT)

Cling to Your Faith

Image
Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. — 1 Timothy 1:19 (NLT) Don’t suffer shipwreck in regard to your faith. Anchor your hope in Yeshua. Continue to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called… (See 1 Timothy 6:11-12 NASB1995) Stay on course and finish the race, and through it all, keep believing. (See 2 Timothy 4:7 VOICE) “We have this certain hope like a strong, unbreakable anchor holding our souls to God himself. Our anchor of hope is fastened to the mercy seat in the heavenly realm beyond the sacred threshold, and where Jesus, our forerunner, has gone in before us. He is now and forever our royal Priest like Melchizedek.” (Hebrews 6:19-20 TPT) He is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords. (See 1 Timothy 6:1...

Win-Win

Image
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” — Philippians 1:21 (NASB1995) We cannot lose in our relationship with Christ.Whether we live or die, it is a win-win situation. May we count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord. Even if we suffer the loss of all things, let us count them but rubbish so that we may gain Christ. (See Philippians 3:8 NASB1995) Revelation 12:11 says: And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. Do not love your life or this world more than you love Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, Who gave His life for us.

Actively Press On

Image
Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own. — Philippians 3:12 (AMP) In  Luke 10:41 (NLT), Jesus said: “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details!” Today, so many things pull for our attention. Don’t let the enemy distract you from the important things with eternal value by keeping you busy with temporary things that will not last through the fire. Instead of fretting about the future or being held back by your past, keep your eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith (See Hebrews 12:2 NLT), and press on! No turning back. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, t...

Rely on Christ

Image
For we who worship by the Spirit of God are the ones who are truly circumcised. We rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We put no confidence in human effort, — Philippians 3:3 (NLT) Rely on Christ and put no confidence in human flesh or effort. For we who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, set apart for His purpose… and place no confidence in what we have or who we are in the flesh. (See Philippians 3:3 AMP) May we be enriched in the reality of knowing Jesus Christ and embrace Him as Lord and Savior in all of His greatness. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. (Philippians 3:8-9a NLT)

He is Near

Image
Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me,[a] for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.’ — Isaiah 41:10 (TPT) Have no fear because our great God is near. He is Elohim, the all-powerful Creator of the universe. Nothing is too difficult for Him. He is also, El Roi, the God Who sees you. He knows the number of hairs on your head. He knows what you're going to say even before you say it. (See Psalm 139:4) Our heavenly Father knows your exact circumstances, and He has already made a way through, just for you. Amen and Hallelujah!

Greater Attention

Image
“ What’s the price of a pet canary? Some loose change, right? And God cares what happens to it even more than you do. He pays even greater attention to you, down to the last detail—even numbering the hairs on your head! ” — Matthew 10:29-30 (MSG) Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me. (Psalm 139:17-18 TPT) May we give God greater attention. Let us pay more attention to our Mighty God than to our cell phones, our social media posts or our favorite sports team. Give greater attention to the One we celebrate, than to the activities and events themselves. Be intentional in your thoughts of our heavenly Father and Christ our Savior. Cherish Him constantly.

Believe & Be Blessed

Image
“ You are blessed because you believed that what the Lord said to you would really happen. ” — Luke 1:45 (NCV) We are blessed when we believe what the Lord said. Without faith no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who truly want to find him  (Hebrews 11:6 NCV). Let us believe His Word, because it's true and it stands forever. He said, in this world we would have trouble, but He also said no weapon formed against us would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). He said His plans for us are good (Jeremiah 29:11) and that His purpose would prevail (Proverbs 19:21). The LORD said, “do not fear for I am with you.” Nothing shall be impossible WITH God. Believe and be Blessed!

Hang on to Hope

Image
“And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.” — Psalm 39:7 (NKJV) Christ Jesus is our hope… (1 Timothy 1:1 NASB). Keep your hope in Him alive, and fresh! This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, is both sure and steadfast… (Hebrews 6:19 NKJV). Our hope is the anchor that will keep us from drifting when stormy winds blow. As we hang on to hope, it will keep us from being carried away by the currents of life circumstances and pressures. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor… (Hebrews 6:19 NLT). We can trust God to keep His promises because He is faithful. He will fulfill each and every one. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. ( Romans 5:5 NLT) Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off. (Proverbs 23:18 NASB)

This is the Day!

Image
This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NKJV) We can be full of joy today, no matter what happens, because this day is written in His Book. And no matter what comes our way today, the LORD has already made a way for us. Glory Hallelujah! Every day He wakes us up and gives us new mercies, is a day to rejoice and be glad. Delight yourself in His Presence, knowing that He is with you, every step of the way. He will never leave you or forsake you.

The Bright & Morning Star

Image
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” — Revelation 22:16 (NKJV) …we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts. (2 Peter 1:19 NLT). Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star. He brings light to dark situations and dark places. In His glorious light there is hope, joy, peace and freedom. Let the light of His love shine in your heart. Let it permeate every fiber and illuminate those around you. Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. (Isaiah 60:1 NKJV)

Preserved by His Care

Image
You gave me life and showed me your unfailing love. My life was preserved by your care. — Job 10:12 (NLT) Job lost all his children, all his material possessions, and he was struck with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. In spite of all these things, Job remembered the goodness of his God. May we never let our present suffering distort our view of our mighty God. He put the breath of life, in our lungs and strengthens us from day to day. Let us always remember His unfailing love and His new mercies and compassions. His lovingkindness is better than life itself. Praise the name of the LORD!

Call upon His Name!

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace. — Isaiah 9:6 (AMP) Jesus is all you will ever need. He is our Wonderful Counselor. Open up and confide in Him about the concerns of your heart, because He cares for you. He is our Mighty God. Nothing is too difficult for Him. No mountain is too high and no valley is too low. Jesus is the Everlasting Father. He watches over us and takes care of us. He is the Prince of Peace. Jesus has given us His peace. He does not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid (John 14:27). Call upon His Name!

Every Day, Praise Him!

I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.  — Psalm 145:1-3 (NIV) As long as we have the breath of life, let us praise the LORD! Worthy is the LORD to receive all honor, glory and praise! There is no one like Him! Our great God is most high above all the earth, let us exalt His name together!

Nothing is Too Hard for Him!

“I am the LORD God of all humanity. Nothing is too hard for me.” Jeremiah 32:27 (GW) Nothing is too hard for Almighty God! He brought life to Sarah's dead, barren womb and it produced living fruit. And Abraham became the father of many nations. Our heavenly Father has ways to turn situations around. He changes our darkness to light, our sadness to joy,  and desperation into hope. When the land was experiencing a drought, God used birds to bring food to the prophet, Elijah, twice a day, (1 Kings 17:2-6). Our heavenly Father is able to provide whatever we need, one way or another. Nothing is too difficult for Him!

Enthroned on High

For the Lord is high above the nations; his glory is higher than the heavens. Who can be compared with the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high? He stoops to look down on heaven and on earth. Psalm 113:4-6 (NLT) The Lord our God is seated on His throne, high above heaven and earth. He is full of glory and majesty, worthy of all adoration and praise. He is all powerful and all knowing. No one can compare to our mighty God. What a privilege we have to be called His children! To have this great God as our protector and defender. Let all the earth worship our heavenly Father.

Restoration & Support

In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. 1 Peter 5:10 (NLT) In 2 Corinthians 4:17, the Apostle Paul refers to the troubles we experience as "light and momentary." After a little while, God restores, supports and strengthens us in the challenges we encounter. When we are on shaky ground, he sets our feet on a firm foundation. Love, Jackie

Be Aware

If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven - if there was anything to forgive - I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. 2 Corinthians 2:10-11 (NIV) Be aware of Satan's schemes. If we get stuck in unforgiveness we have fallen for his ploy and Satan has outwitted us. Colossians 3:13 tells us to bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances we may have against one another. Have a forgiving spirit and stay clear of the traps of the enemy. Peace & Love to you, Jackie
