Is it the latest news on your favorite social media platform? Or is it the living God, Who created you and continually lavishes His unfailing love upon you? When you receive bad news do you phone a friend or do you call upon Yahweh first? In my distress I called upon Yahweh, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears. Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. — Isaiah 55:6 (NLT) Now is the time to seek YAHWEH. Instead of seeking the temporary things of this world, set your affections on our eternal God, Who continually lavishes His unfailing love upon us. At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalm 16:11 NKJV) With a deep longing in your heart, seek Him and require Him as a vital necessity, and you will find Him when you search for Him with all your heart.
