Release It

Image
Cast your burden on the LORD [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail). — Psalms 55:22 (AMP) Sometimes we give our cares and concerns to Yahweh in prayer but we don’t let go of them. We continue to carry them with us, throughout the day. Often, telling others about them. And the more we magnify them, the larger they seem. Let them go and allow the peace of God to rule in your heart and in your mind. It is prideful for us to think we can handle anything better than our great God is able to. Experience a lighter load, by releasing all your cares to God and relying on Him to give you success in that situation. I once read: “Instead of telling God how big your problems are. Tell your problems how big your GOD is.” Amen. Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all y...

The Chief Corner Stone

Image
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone. This is the LORD’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:22-24 (NASB1995) First Peter 2:6 (NASB) says: “Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.” This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve, “The stone which the builders rejected, this became the very corner stone,” and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed. (1 Peter 2:7-8 NASB1995) Come to Him [the risen Lord] as to a living Stone which men rejected and threw away, but which is choice and precious in the sight of God.  (1 Peter 2:4 AMP) Trust in and rely on Him, God’s only Son—the Source of our salvation. Our satisfaction and greatest joy is in Him.

He Sustains You

Image
Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. — Psalm 55:22 (NASB1995) Why insist on carrying a load that Yahweh is more than willing to receive from you? When we truly cast our burdens, as the Word tells us to, we don’t just set them down beside us, but we throw them away from us, as far as possible. So release your troubles into His capable hands, and don't pick them up again. Yahweh is the Way Maker. When our minds are stayed upon Him, instead of our challenges, He will keep us in perfect peace. (See Isaiah 26:3) He will sustain you. He will strengthen and support you in every area, mentally, physically, emotionally, etc.  The LORD our God will enlighten your darkness. (See Psalm 18:28 NKJV) No matter what the circumstances may be, Yahweh never ceases to care for you. The LORD sustains all who fall and raises up all who are bowed down. — Psalm 145:14 (NASB1995)

Why Despair?

Image
Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God. — Psalm 42:11 (NASB1995) We get overwhelmed and discouraged when we try to carry and fix our problems and/or the troubles of this world. Give all your anxieties, worries and concerns to God. What is a boulder on our backs is a pebble in His hand. Psalm 68:19 says: Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden , the God who is our salvation. Selah. (NASB1995) Do not lean on your own understanding. Instead, trust in the LORD with all your heart. (See Proverbs 3:5) For His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:9) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT)

Trust Totally

Image
Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed.  — Proverbs 16:3 (TPT) Trust totally in God. This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD. But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.” (Jeremiah 17:5, 7 NLT) And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28 AMP) “ No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him .” — 1 Corinthians 2:9b (NLT)

Armed with Strength

Image
For who is God except the LORD? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights. — Psalm 18:31-33 (NLT) The LORD trains my hands for battle; He strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow. He has given me His shield of victory. His right hand supports me; His help has made me great. (Psalm 18:34-35) I’m singing joyful praise to God. I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God. Counting on God’s Rule to prevail, I take heart and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I’m king of the mountain! (Habakkuk 3:18-19 MSG) Hallelujah and Amen!

When You Don’t Know What to Do

Image
“O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” All Judah was standing before the LORD, with their infants, their wives and their children. — 2 Chronicles 20:12-13 (NASB) When you don’t know what to do, run to the throne room of your Heavenly Father. Call upon His name at all times. When the righteous cry [for help], the LORD hears and rescues them from all their distress and troubles. (Psalm 34:17 AMP) When you don’t know what to do stand on His Word. Deuteronomy 20:1 says, “When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you…” Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. (2 Chronicles 20:15) And He has given us the victory. No weapon formed against you shall prosper… (Isaiah 54:17a)

Say, “Yes!” to God

Image
So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet. — James 4:7-10  (MSG) Say “Yes!” to God. Resist the devil and he will flee. When we humble ourselves in the Presence of the LORD, He will lift us up in due time. May His perfect will be done in your life.

Be Loosed!

Image
...He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” — John 11:43-44 (NKJV) When Jesus called Lazarus out of the grave, his grave clothes still needed to be removed. Jesus has called us to come forth, out of the darkness and into the light of life. (John 8:12) We no longer need to be wrapped up in dead things. Things that do not lead to the abundant life Jesus came to give us. We have been called into a living hope. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (1 Peter 1:3 NASB). Psalm 84:2b says, “my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.” Psalm 42:2 says, “my soul thirsts for God, for the living God.” Be loosed of dead things. Jesus is the living bread (John 6:51) Whoev...

He Cares!

Image
It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him. — Hebrews 11:6 (MSG) Know that God cares more than enough to respond to every person who seeks Him. In Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV) the LORD says, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” In Psalm 8:4 David asks, “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” God has made us a little lower than the angels and crowned us with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:5). He cares enough to call us out of darkness and into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9). God cares so much, He accepted us and adopted us into His family. He gave us the right to be called children of God. As a loving parent, He watches over us and provides for all our needs. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he definitely cares about you! Seek Him to...

He Delights in You!

Image
“For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” — Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT)  The LORD our God takes great delight in us. Second Samuel 2:1 says, “My heart rejoices in the LORD;” This relationship is meant to be a two-way exchange. He gives of Himself and we give ourselves to Him. Even when we get distracted and pay little attention to Him, He still watches over us, and woos us back into fellowship with Him. Regardless, He continually lavishes His love on us. Let us take great joy in knowing Him and being known by Him, in this intimate, everlasting covenant of love.

Comfort in Affliction

Image
This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction: that Your word has revived me and given me life. — Psalm 119:50 (AMP) In all of our pain and suffering we can be comforted with the Word of God. His Word will rejuvenate us and give us abundant life. Our consolation is that ALL things work together for good to those who love God... (Romans 8:28). Our momentary troubles will also draw us closer to God and more committed to His Word. Psalm 119:67 says, before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word. The Message Bible says, my troubles turned out all for the best— they forced me to learn from your textbook (Psalm 119:71). Learn, Love & Live!

Be Still and Know

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”  — Psalm 46:10 (NIV) God’s glory is on tour in the skies, God-craft on exhibit across the horizon. Madame Day holds classes every morning, Professor Night lectures each evening (Psalm 19:1-2, The Message). Cast all your cares on Him and know that the Creator of this magnificent universe is able and willing to take care of everything that concerns you!

It's Already Done!

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. — 1 John 4:4 (NLT) I love this verse, because it says it's already DONE! Just as Jesus said on the cross, "It is finished!" He has already won the victory for us. Praise the Lord! We just have to walk it out and work it out, knowing that we overcome by the blood of Christ and the Word of our testimony. Amen.

Cast All Your Cares

Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. 1 Peter 5:7 (Amp) Cast all of your cares and concerns on the LORD, once and for all. Leave them in His hands and do not pick them up again. God cares for you so much, He does not want you filled with anxiety and weighed down with burdens. Jesus came to set us free. God watches over you and He is all-knowing. He has the wisdom and power to get you through any situation. Instead of focusing on problems, keep your eyes on the LORD, your helper. Think about His goodness and His faithfulness.

New Strength

The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in green pastures. He leads me to calm water. He gives me new strength. He leads me on paths that are right for the good of his name. Psalm 23:1-3 (NCV) When we rely on the Lord, our Shepherd, we have everything we need and He leads us along the right paths. Rest in the Lord and He will give you new strength.

He Has Heard You

"Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before God when you heard what he spoke against this place and its people, and because you humbled yourself before me and tore your robes and wept in my presence, I have heard you, declares the LORD." 2 Chronicles 34:27 (NIV) If you have humbled yourself before God and your heart has favorably responded to Him, know that He has heard you. If you have wept in His Presence, he heard your cries. Let your soul rest in peace as you listen for His reply. Love, Jackie
