(Psalms 62:7-8 NASB1995) “Yahweh is good, a strong defense in the day of distress, and He knows those who take refuge in Him.” (Nahum 1:7 LSB) He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. “Sir,” Gideon replied, “if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about? Didn’t they say, ‘The LORD brought us up out of Egypt’? But now the LORD has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites.” — Judges 6:13 (NLT) The question is not “why?” or “what?” It is “WHO?” No matter how devastating circumstances may appear, remember that Yahweh is with you and He is faithful to bring you through all of your troubles. He Himself has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…” (See Hebrews 13:5 & Isaiah 43:2-3 NLT) Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all....

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” — Hebrews 13:5-6 (NLT) I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. (Psalms 121:1-3 NASB19995) The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.” — Matthew 1:23 (NASB1995) We are never alone. God is always with us. And with the Lord on our side, who can stand against us? In 2 Timothy 4:16-17, the Apostle Paul says, at his first trial no one supported him. Everyone abandoned him. But, he says, the Lord stood with Him and gave him strength. If every person who says they have your back, deserts you, know that God is with you. No matter what kind of situation you face, look to see God at work and seek His wisdom and guidance. The Apostle Paul goes on to say: Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. (2 Timothy 4:18 NLT) He will do the same for you.

Second Corinthians 4:17 says, our troubles are light and momentary. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! Remember, the plans the LORD has for you are good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11) And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NASB1995)

(1 Corinthians 15:57 NASB1995) In the midst of challenges, remember that you are never abandoned by the Most High God and in Christ, you are more than a conqueror. God is continually with you and with His counsel He will guide you, and afterward receive you to glory. (See Psalm 73:23-24) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NASB1995)

(See Psalm 27:10 NLT) Yahweh will never leave you, nor forsake you. Have patient perseverance and He will deliver you out of all trouble. The LORD will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me. — Psalm 138:8 (NLT)

Then Gideon said to him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? May we always remember that even more important than “why” is “ Who .” No matter what we go through, we have not been abandoned. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (See Hebrews 13:5 NASB1995)  He is our help and our support. Don’t fear or be discouraged. He is with you. And He is still a miracle-working God. He will never, neglect those who come to Him for help. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) That’s why we live with such good cheer. You won’t see us drooping our heads or dragging our feet! Cramped conditions here don’t get us down. They only remind us of the spacious living conditions ahead. It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the road or rocks in the path are going to stop us? (2 Corinthians 5:6-7 MSG) Trust God, He is with you. The LORD delivers the righteous out of all their troubles. (Psalm  34:17).
