Manna for Your Morning

“This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer and Creator: “I am the LORD, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. Who was with me when I made the earth?” — Isaiah 44:24 (NLT) But now, O Yahweh, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:8 LSB) May we be soft and pliable in the hands of our Maker. Bend in the places where He says to bend. He will smooth out our rough places and straighten out the areas that need to be straightened.  Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. (Psalm 95:6-7 NLT) The LORD will accomplish that which concerns me; Your [unwavering] lovingkindness, O LORD, endures forever— Do not abandon the works of Your own hands. (Psalms 138:8 AMP)

But now, O Yahweh, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (LSB) How foolish can you be? He is the Potter, and he is certainly greater than you, the clay! 
Should the created thing say of the one who made it, “He didn’t make me”? “What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ (See Isaiah 29:16 & 45:9 NLT) This is what the LORD says— the Holy One of Israel and your Creator: “Do you question what I do for my children? Do you give me orders about the work of my hands? I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. But now, O Yahweh, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (LSB) Knowing that our heavenly Father loves us and the plans He has for us are good, let us be soft and pliable in His hand. Yield to His will and respond to His touch with a willing heart. …humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, (1 Peter 5:6 NASB1995). Just as making a beautiful creation out of a lump of clay is a process, so is the work Yahweh is doing in each one of us. Even in difficult times we are being shaped and molded to fulfill the plans and purposes He has for us. It may not always look pretty, but He has made everything beautiful in its time. (See Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV). On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers [arrogantly] back to God and dares to defy Him? Will the thing which is formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” Does the potter not have the right ove...

But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (NASB) In Revelation 22:17 (NLT), the Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life. When we come to the LORD, may we present to him a heart that is open and pliable. Let your heart be molded by His love, gentleness, kindness and compassion. May it be filled with His peace, patience, goodness, and faithfulness. Receive the joy of His Presence. With our heart in the hands of the Potter, we will be the unique masterpiece He created each one of us to be.

Yet, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our Potter, and we all are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (AMP) May we be pliable in the hands of the Potter. We are not our own, for we were bought with a price (the precious blood of Jesus). (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. (Romans 12:2 TPT) As we discern God’s will and flow with His Spirit, we will live beautiful and satisfying lives. Jesus came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (John 10:10b AMP)

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. — Ephesians 2:10  (NLT) In order to be the magnificent masterpieces that God created us to be, we need to yield to the work of His Holy Spirit within us. Let us bend in the places He directs us to bend, give where He says give and be firm in the areas where He wants us to stand strong. The Master Potter gently molds  us and shapes us with His hands, into unique creations. As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so we are in the hands of our heavenly Father. Be soft and pliable. And yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand. (Isaiah 64:8 NLT)

But now, O LORD, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (NASB) Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel (Jeremiah 18:3 NKJV). When the potter goes to the wheel, it is intentional. He has a vision of something in his heart to make. When God formed you in your mother’s womb, He did it intentionally and it gave Him great pleasure. Psalm 139:14 says, marvelous are His works, that includes you. Our heavenly Father created you with a purpose in mind. You are not an accident and your life is not a mistake. All the days ordained for you have been written in His book (Psalm 139:16). You have a glorious destiny, a desired end. He created each one of us unique, and in all different shapes, colors and sizes. One does not take value away from the other. Only you can fulfill the purpose He created you for. Stay on the Potter's wheel and let Him continue His work in you...

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. — Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) You are a unique masterpiece put together by our heavenly Father, one of a kind. You are His special treasure, created new in Christ Jesus. We are the clay, and our Father the potter; And all of us are the work of His hand. (Isaiah 64:8) Just as clay in the hand of the potter, we need to be soft and pliable in His hands in order to fulfill the good things He has planned for us. May we bend when He says bend and fold in the places where He wants us to fold. And He is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams]… (Ephesians 3:20 AMP)

You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. — Psalm 139:15-16 (MSG) But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand (Isaiah 64:8 NKJV). Our heavenly Father is the Master potter. He takes us and creates magnificent masterpieces that reveal His greatness. He created you into something special. Let us be pliable and responsive to the touch of His hand as we are living testimonies made to reveal the glory of God, our Creator.

But now, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (NKJV) Our heavenly Father does the molding, but we need to stay on His wheel. Let us present ourselves to Him, moment by moment, as living sacrifices. Lay your heart on His altar and let Him soften it and shape it to be more like His. Allow the touch of His loving hands to set it on fire. Renew your mind according to His Word. As the clay is in the potter’s hand, may we also be in the hand of the Master.

May we be sensitive to the touch of our Maker's hand as He gently shapes us and molds us into beautiful creations. Let us not be stubborn and try to go against God's design. Be pliable in the hands of our Master as He fashions you into a unique masterpiece with His very own signature.
