Manna for Your Morning

This is the mess age we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; — 1 John 1:5-6 (NASB1995) The LORD is God, and He has given us light [illuminating us with His grace and freedom and joy]. (Psalms 118:27a AMP) “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and dense gloom the peoples; But Yahweh will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you. (Isaiah 60:1-2 LSB) Who is among you that fears Yahweh, that listens to the voice of His Servant, that walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Yahweh and rely on his God. (Isaiah 50:10 LSB) May we continually live in the Light.

Jesus …[willingly] gave Himself [to be crucified] on our behalf to redeem us and purchase our freedom from all wickedness, and to purify for Himself a chosen and very special people to be His own possession, who are enthusiastic for doing what is good.  — Titus 2:14 (AMP) “…you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” (See 1 Peter 2:9 NLT) “And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. (Titus 2:12-13 NLT)

 “ I am the Gateway. To enter through me is to experience life, freedom, and satisfaction. ” — John 10:9 (TPT) True life, freedom and satisfaction are found as we abide in Yeshua. In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. (John 1:4 AMP) Yeshua is the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through Him. (See John 14:6 TLV) He came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (See John 10:10 AMP) Yahweh anointed Him to bring good news to the afflicted; He was sent to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to captives and freedom to prisoners. (See Isaiah 61:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1 NKJV) Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover or pretext for evil, but [use it and live] as bond-servants of God. (1 Peter 2:15 AMP) Amen.

Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:31-32 (NLT) As believers, we have been given a Helper, the Spirit of truth, that He may abide with us forever. (See John 14:16-17) In John 16:13 (NKJV), Yeshua said: “the Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth…” Let us eagerly seek to know the truth (the Word of God) and stand on it. When we know the truth, we will not fall for the lies of the enemy. Nor will we conform or compromise with the ways of this world. Let us habitually walk with, and be led by the Holy Spirit. Seek Him and be responsive to His guidance, and then we will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature (See Galatians 5:16 AMP/NASB) Let us continually bear the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, — Philippians 2:9-10 (AMP) JESUS. It truly is a beautiful name! God’s goodness, grace, and glory is contained in the name of Jesus. When we know Jesus, we know joy and peace. We have forgiveness and freedom. Jesus saves and He rescues. He heals and makes whole. When we call on the name of Jesus, we have strength and hope. His name contains power to overcome challenges. In the name of Jesus, the love of God unfolds. Praise the name of the Lord, it’s the only name worth praising. For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above earth and heaven. (Psalm 148:13) O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth!

With the loving mercy of our God, a new day from heaven will dawn upon us. It will shine on those who live in darkness, in the shadow of death. It will guide us into the path of peace.” — Luke 1:78-79 (NCV) Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous (Psalm 112:4 NKJV). Jesus is the light of the world (John 8:12). His marvelous light shines on those who live in darkness, and offers hope, peace, and freedom. As the Prince of Peace, He guides our feet into the way of everlasting peace and abundant life. Let us arise, and shine! For our light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

“Let us praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to help his people and has given them freedom. He has given us a powerful Savior from the family of God’s servant David. — Luke 1:68-69 (NCV) Praise God that He helps His people! Psalm 54:4 (NLT) says, God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive! Psalm 27:9 says, He has always been my helper. Not only does our help come from the Lord, but He has given us a powerful Savior. Jesus, our mighty Savior has gained the victory for us and set us free. No matter what fire storms you have gone through, the Lord helped you to rise up out of the ashes and live a new day, full of hope and promise.  So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6 NLT)

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. — Ephesians 1:7-8 (NLT) For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. (1 Peter 1:18-19 NLT) Jesus saved us from an empty, dead-end life, and gave us a life of freedom, full of peace, joy and purpose. He showered us with His lovingkindness and put us on the path that leads to everlasting life. Praise the name of the Lord!

“And whoever comes to me must follow in my steps and be willing to share my cross and experience it as his own, or he cannot be considered to be my disciple. All who seek to live apart from me will lose it all. But those who let go of their lives for my sake and surrender it all to me will discover true life!” — Matthew 10:38-39 (TPT) Surrender all and follow Jesus. Then you will discover the true life, a life of freedom and grace. Jesus came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (John 10:10b AMP) Let us look to Jesus. The Message Bible says, “ If you don’t go all the way with me, through thick and thin, you don’t deserve me. If your first concern is to look after yourself, you’ll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you’ll find both yourself and me .” — Matthew 10:38-39 (MSG) Amen.

But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.  — Hebrews 10:12 (NLT) On this Memorial Day, we honor the men and women who gave their all for our country and our freedom; those who sacrificed their lives. Let us also honor the One perfect sacrifice. Christ Jesus gave His all for our freedom. Isaiah 53:7 says, He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. He gave His life to set us free! He paid the penalty for our sins and triumphed over death. As the Message Bible says: “It was a perfect sacrifice by a perfect person to perfect some very imperfect people.” (Hebrews 10:12) Jesus proclaims liberty to those held captive. (Isaiah 61:1) Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; (Isaiah 53:4a). He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5) Because He...

Surely righteous people are praising your name; the godly will live in your presence. — Psalm 140:13 (NLT) In Genesis 3:8, Adam and Eve heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden, and they hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. And Jonah tried to flee from the presence of the LORD (Jonah 1:3). The biggest mistake and most futile effort we could ever make is to try to hide or flee from the Presence of our great God. Without God’s help we are destined for failure. As children of God, we can praise His name because we have the most amazing opportunity and privilege to live in His precious Presence. In the shelter of the Most High there is protection and provision, and He lavishes His love upon us. In His Presence, His mighty power enables us to overcome the forces of evil and live in freedom and victory. In His Presence, we have a peace that cannot be moved by earthly circumstances. He fills us with joy in His presence. (Acts 2:2...

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. — James 1:17 (NLT) Our heavenly Father consistently and freely gives us every good and perfect gift. He has given us unconditional love, peace of mind, joy, redemption and freedom. May we receive every gift with a grateful heart.  The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Don't relinquish your gifts to him. Instead, keep a firm grip on all that God has given you and utilize them to live the more abundant life Jesus came to give us, and to add to the lives of others.

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. — John 19:30 (NKJV) When Jesus said, “It is finished!” it was a done deal. As Jesus bowed His head on that cross, all things were accomplished —our healing, our victory. Through His sacrifice we received everything we will ever need. What freedom we can experience when we really understand that it is already done. With this realization, we can stay in His perfect peace and fullness of joy. All of our days are already written in God's book. Instead of victims we are victors, more than conquerors. We just have to walk in the steps Jesus already mapped out for us. Everything else that happens in this life is just a sideshow distraction to get us off the path God has for us. Distractions are tools the enemy uses to get us to wander off the path and wonder if God’s Word is true. God made it simple, we complicate it. Don't let the enemy come in cause confusion. Inst...

So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. — Luke 2:15-18 (NKJV) Just as the shepherds went in haste to see Jesus, let us have a sense of urgency, not only to see Jesus, but to know Him personally. May we have a richer and deeper experience of His love and grace, each and every day.  And let’s introduce others to our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6 NIV). The LORD anointed Him to bring good news to the poor. He was sent to comfort the brokenhearted and to announce freedom to all captives, and pardon all prisoners. (Isaiah 61:1). Hallelujah! You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. — Galatians 5:13 (NIV) Once we have been set free, it is our responsibility to make wise choices, to ensure that we live free. Every day we make decisions that lead to life or death. The LORD set before us life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live (Deuteronomy 30:19 NIV). Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD (Joshua 24:15 NKJV). Choose to love, laugh, and forgive. Choose to be kind and walk in the light of the LORD! Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you.  — Galatians 5:1 (MSG)

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. — Romans 12:1 (NKJV) In view of all the mercies and compassions of God, the Apostle Paul pleads with believers to make a decisive dedication of their bodies to God. Let us serve and worship our God, in this manner of being fully committed, —giving our all to accomplish His purpose in our lives. This Memorial Day, may we honor all of the military men and women, past and present, who daily sacrifice their lives in service to our country. Whether it was giving your lives on the battlefield, suffering wounds and injuries or sacrificing precious time away from your loved ones for training and deployments, we “ Thank You ” for all you do to ensure our freedom and safety.

Who among you fears the LORD and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the LORD and rely on your God. — Isaiah 50:10 (NLT) When the storms of life come rushing in, instead of drifting away from God and allowing your faith to be shipwrecked, draw near and rely on your God. When your journey causes you to wander in the wilderness instead of the promised land, rely on your God. If life situations seem to have you imprisoned, realize that Jesus has proclaimed freedom to those held captive and given a pardon to all prisoners. When all you can see is darkness around you, look up and into the light of the LORD your God.

Then Elijah stood in front of them and said, “How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!” But the people were completely silent. — 1 Kings 18:21 (NLT) Our God is so gracious, He gives us the freedom to make choices. He sets before us life and death, blessing and cursing; Then He gives us the right answer and says “choose life, that both you and your descendants may live,” (Deuteronomy 30:19). At any given moment, we can choose to follow God, our flesh, the world, or the devil. When it comes to making choices, don’t remain speechless. We believe, therefore we speak (2 Corinthians 4:13), and we follow through with the corresponding actions. Stop hobbling and being double-minded. Stand up straight and firm. Let every decision you make be, to follow God on the path of life, not just for you, but for the next generation.

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;” — Luke 4:18 (NKJV) Our Heavenly Father sent Jesus to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity] (Luke 4:18 AMP). Today as we celebrate America’s Independence, declare your independence as a disciple of Christ. Announce your fredom from the schemes of the enemy. He no longer has the power to oppress you, unless you give it to him. Celebrate the freedom and victory we have in Christ. Hallelujah!

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery . — Galatians 5:1 (NIV) Jesus said, “I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave is a transient, who can’t come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through (John 8:34-36 MSG). In our pursuit of happiness, let us remember that true liberty and abundant life are found in Jesus, our Lord and Savior. He paid the ultimate price with His precious blood and gave His life for us all!
