Proclaim His Greatness

Image
“I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will boast in the LORD; the humble will hear and be glad. Proclaim the LORD’s greatness with me; let us exalt his name together.” — Psalms 34:1-3 (CSB) No matter what the current circumstance, let us continue to speak His praise. Instead of talking about how hard your situation is, proclaim how great is our God. “Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.” (Psalms 100:4 NASB) “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” — Psalms 150:6 (NASB)

Reflect His Glory

Image
Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him. — 2 Corinthians 3:18 (MSG) Recognize that God is a living personal presence. (2 Corinthians 3:16 MSG) He is personally present. Let there be nothing between you and our heavenly Father. Welcome Him into your heart and your entire life. Let us see and reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We all, with unveiled face, behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, and are progressively being transformed into His image, from one degree of glory to another, which comes from the Lord. Whether you eat or drink, live your life in a way that glorifies and honors God. — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (TPT)

Healed & Whole

Image
“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings and you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. — Malachi 4:2 (NLT) …he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. (Isaiah 53:5 NLT) Abide in the shelter of His wings and receive healing and wholeness in every area of your life. “Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved, for You are my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14 NASB) Keep close watch over me as the apple of Your eye; shelter me in the shadow of Your wings. — Psalm 17:8 (VOICE)

Know the Truth

Image
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:31-32 (NLT) In John 14:6 (NASB), Jesus said , “ I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. ” Jesus is the truth. The only way to know the truth is to know Jesus, to have a personal, intimate relationship with the Lord of lords and the King of kings. Open your heart today and receive Him as your Savior and the Lord of your life. It’s only in knowing Jesus and all He did for us that we can truly live an abundant life of freedom, peace and joy. Amen!

Embrace the Fullness

Image
Now God has offered to us the same promise of entering into his realm of resting in confident faith. So we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all embrace the fullness of that promise and not fail to experience it. For we have heard the good news of deliverance just as they did, yet they didn’t join their faith with the Word. Instead, what they heard didn’t affect them deeply, for they doubted.” — Hebrews‬ ‭4:1-2‬ ‭(TPT‬‬) Instead of doubting join your faith to His Word. His precious promises will be fulfilled for all who believe. No matter what you are going through if you love God and are called according to His purpose, He will work all things together for good. (Romans 8:28)

Blessed in Believing

Image
O LORD of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. — Psalm 84:12 (AMP) Those who believe in God and rely on Him, are blessed and greatly favored. Commit yourself fully to the LORD. Confidently expect God to bring you through, whatever He has brought you to. Believe that He rewards those who earnestly and diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 (NASB) says, …without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. “You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, and there will be none after Me.” — Isaiah 43:10 (NASB)

Known & Loved

Image
O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. — Psalm 139:1-3 (NASB) God knows us better than we know ourselves. We are an open book to Him, there is no reason to try and hide. Our heavenly Father knows everything about us and He still loves us. Why set your hopes on the temporal things of this world for fulfillment. They are fleeting, and will soon disappear. However, His gifts are eternal. Abba Father continually pours out grace and compassion upon us. We receive a constant flow of His love, and it will never fail us. His mercies are new every morning. Stake your confidence in God and His love for you. And when we allow Him to fill us, we experience an overflow that splashes on those around us, and enriches their lives. Live in the overflow!

He Strengthens & Empowers

Image
I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] — Philippians 4:13 (AMP) We can do everything God has called us to do as we work through Christ. We can make it through anything because the One who is in us, is greater than he who is in the world. He strengthens us and empowers us. Be open and receive, and you will be filled with inner strength and confident peace.

Be Still

Image
“Be still, be calm, see, and understand I am the True God. I am honored among all the nations. I am honored over all the earth.” — Psalm 46:10 (VOICE) Cease striving and understand that the LORD our God is the one true God. He is the Most High God. Honor Him. Our heavenly Father is over all the earth. The Message Bible says to: “ Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything. ” (Psalm 46:10 MSG) He reigns over every situation in your life, over every mountain and over every valley. And He loves you. He is always with you, never to leave you nor forsake you. Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations, and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth. — Psalm 46:10 (TPT)

Pitch your Tent in the Land of Hope

Image
David said it all: I saw God before me for all time. Nothing can shake me; he’s right by my side. I’m glad from the inside out, ecstatic; I’ve pitched my tent in the land of hope. I know you’ll never dump me in Hades; I’ll never even smell the stench of death. You’ve got my feet on the life-path, with your face shining sun-joy all around. — Acts 2:25-28 (MSG)  Pitch your tent in the land of hope and camp out there. Don’t let the enemy lure you into the territory of discouragement and defeat. God is right by your side. So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! (Psalm 31:24 NLT) With God on your side, nothing will be able to stand against you.   … You direct me on a path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment. — Acts 2:28 (VOICE)

Be Unshakable

Image
I have told you these things so that you will be whole and at peace. In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order. — John 16:33 (VOICE) No matter what you are being plagued with, the name of Jesus is higher and greater. God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every other name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow. Jesus has taken away the power of anything in this world to defeat us. Amen! In Jesus, we can abide in perfect peace and rest assured that He has already given us the victory. Hallelujah! Jesus said, “ I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world. ” — John 16:33 (MSG)

Nothing is too Difficult for Him

Image
God, your Redeemer, who shaped your life in your mother’s womb, says: “I am God. I made all that is. With no help from you I spread out the skies and laid out the earth.” — Isaiah 44:24 (MSG) When life seems stormy and chaotic, remember God has a perfect plan for your life. He has all your days written in His book, and you have not come to the end of the story yet. He chose you and called you to live a life of purpose, with a glorious destination. The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day. (Proverbs 4:18) Our heavenly Father will work everything together for good. Give all your cares and concerns to Him. Nothing is too difficult for Him. ‘Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,  — Jeremiah 32:17 (NASB)

Shine!

Image
Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. — Matthew 5:16 (NASB) As children of the Most High God, may we let the light of His love and grace shine brightly through us, that He may receive glory, honor and praise. The Passion Translation says: Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you! (Colossians 3:17TPT) “ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. ” — Isaiah 60:1 (NASB)

Freely Give

Image
Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.” — Luke 6:38 (AMP) Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.  (James 1:17 NASB) God continually pours out His love upon us. He gives us His peace and grace. He forgives us and sets us free. As God has freely given to us, let us give freely to others. Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favor. — Proverbs 11:25 (TPT)

Keep on Believing

Image
Jesus: Don’t get lost in despair; believe in God, and keep on believing in Me. — John 14:1 (VOICE) I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13 NASB) Don’t let your faith grow weak and cause you to waver and wander away from our heavenly Father. for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] (2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP) So God has given us two unchanging things: His promise and His oath. These prove that it is impossible for God to lie. As a result, we who come to God for refuge might be encouraged to seize that hope that is set before us. That hope is real and true, an anchor to steady our restless souls… — Hebrews 6:18-19a (VOICE)

Favor for Life!

Image
For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield. — Psalm 5:12 (NASB) For His anger is but for a moment,  His favor is for a lifetime;  Weeping may last for the night, b ut a shout of joy comes in the morning.  — Psalm 30:5 (NASB) The righteous are surrounded by God’s favor and His favor is not just momentary, it lasts for a lifetime. Amen! The Voice Bible says, He lays all good things in the laps of the right-hearted. His blessings surround them like a shield. (Psalm 5:12 VOICE). His favor is not something we have to struggle and fight for, we just have to receive it. His favor will open doors for you that no man can shut. Praise God for His favor! For the LORD God is a sun and shield. The LORD grants favor and honor; he does not withhold the good from those who live with integrity. — Psalm 84:11 (CSB)

Seek Him Continually

Image
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. — Matthew 6:33 (NLT) Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. (1 Chronicles 16:11 NASB) May we seek God's will in all we do. Put Him first in how you spend your time, use your finances and in how you utilize the talents and gifts He has bestowed upon you. Psalm 115:12 says, the LORD has been mindful of us. Let your mind be occupied with thoughts about His greatness and goodness more than anything else. Give Him your whole heart and full adoration.  Worthy is the LORD, our God, to receive all praise, glory and honor! You have been my constant helper; therefore, I sing for joy under the protection of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand reaches down and holds me up. — Psalm 63:7-8 (VOICE)

Be Led by the Spirit

Image
We all have wandered off, like shepherdless sheep, scattered by our aimless striving and endless pursuits; The Eternal One laid on him, this silent sufferer, the sins of us all. — Isaiah 53:6 (VOICE) Proverbs 14:12 (VOICE) says, Before every person lies a road that seems to be right, but the end of that road is death and destruction. Be led by the Holy Spirit and He will show you the path that leads to life and life more abundantly. While our endless pursuits will leave us empty and exhausted abiding in Him, we will experience fullness of life, peace and joy. My counsel is this: Live freely, animated and motivated by God’s Spirit. Then you won’t feed the compulsions of selfishness. — Galatians 5:16 (MSG)

See Things from His Perspective

Image
So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. — Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) The enemy likes to distract us with the difficulties of the day. Don’t fall for his tricks. Keep your eyes on Jesus and what He is doing. See things from God’s perspective. How the world sees you is of no consequence, if you don’t buy into it. When you see things from His perspective, your thoughts about yourself line up with His Word. You are a child of the Most High God. You are loved, chosen, and accepted. You are more than a conqueror! And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. — Psalm 9:10 (NASB)

“Peace be with You”

Image
So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and *said to them, “Peace be with you.” — John 20:19 (NASB) The LORD gives his people strength; the LORD blesses his people with peace. (Psalm 29:11 CSB) …let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. (Colossians 3:15 NLT) The Amplified Bible says peace is the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him. Let us walk through each day with Him. Stay aware of His Presence, with you, and you will abide in His peace. In His Presence, we are empowered to overcome the troubles and trials of this world. “ Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful. ” — John 14:27 (CSB)

Receive the Word

Image
For as rain and snow can’t go back once they’ve fallen, but soak into the ground and nourish the plants that grow, providing seed to the farmer and bread for the hungry, so it is when I declare something. My word will go out and not return to Me empty, but it will do what I wanted; it will accomplish what I determined. — Isaiah 55:10-11 (VOICE) Acts 17:11 (NASB) says, the believers in Berea received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily… May we be open vessels to receive the Word of God and let it soak into the good soil of our hearts. It will nourish our spirits and restore life to us. Then we can feed a good Word to the hungry and hurting in our sphere. The Word of God cleanses and refreshes, and it stands forever. Amen. Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction. I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have given me life. — Psalm 119:92-93 (NKJV)

Endure & Receive

Image
So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) …let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (Galatians 6:9 NLT) See, we count as blessed those who have endured. You have heard of Job’s endurance and have seen the outcome that the Lord brought about—the Lord is compassionate and merciful. (James 5:11 CSB) The Eternal One blessed the last part of Job’s life even more than the first part. (Job 42:12a VOICE) May you continue to fight the good fight, finish the course, and keep the faith. (1 Timothy 4:7)

Speak Life

Image
Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” “O Sovereign LORD,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.” Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the LORD! — Ezekiel 37:3-4 (NLT) In Ezekiel 31:1, the Spirit of the LORD carried Ezekiel to a valley filled with dry bones. In Ezekiel 31:7-8, Ezekiel spoke the message as instructed by God and the bones came together and attached themselves as complete skeletons. Then muscles and flesh formed over the bones. Then skin formed to cover their bodies. In Ezekiel 37:9-10, He spoke the message as the LORD commanded, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet—a great army. Just as the LORD had Ezekiel speak life into dead bones, you can speak life, and the Creator of life itself will restore what is dead in your life, in your heart, in your relationships, etc. For nothing will be impossible with Go...

Rest in God’s Faithfulness

Image
Believe in the Eternal, and do what is good— live in the land He provides; roam, and rest in God’s faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (VOICE) The Amplified Bible says to trust, rely on and have confidence in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed securely on His faithfulness. (Psalm 37:3) When we rely on Him to work in us and through us, His perfect will is accomplished. Let us put more confidence in our great God than we do earthly events, that doctor’s report, or the balance of our bank account, etc. Trust God to handle everything that concerns you and He will keep you in perfect peace. God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19) He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Amen.

Keep Praying & Praising God

Image
After they had severely flogged them, they threw them in jail, ordering the jailer to guard them carefully. Receiving such an order, he put them into the inner prison and secured their feet in the stocks. — Acts 16:23-24 (CSB) About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. (Acts 16:25 CSB) Even after being severely beaten and thrown in jail, Paul and Silas were praying and praising God. They were not whining and complaining about how “ hard ” it was to serve God. They were not having a pity party or playing the victim role. What an example for us. Don’t let the troubles and hardships get you down. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the jail were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains came loose. (Acts 16:26 CSB) Keep praying and praising God and He will loosen chais and open the doors that need to be opened for you.  Amen. The Father sent Jesus...

Containers & Reflectors

Image
Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. — Romans 12:1 (TPT) Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16 NASB) So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31 NLT) May we respond to God’s marvelous love and mercy by continually worshiping Him with our entire beings. Worship Him with your thoughts, your feelings, your actions and with your physical bodies. Be grateful for this glorious treasure we have in our earthen vessels (2 Corinthians 4:7) Elohim, the great and powerful Creator of the universe, has given us the honor and privilege of hosting His Holy Spirit. Wow! Let us surrender ourselves to God to be His sacred sacrific...

Study the Map

Image
How can a young person live a clean life? By carefully reading the map of your Word. I’m single-minded in pursuit of you; don’t let me miss the road signs you’ve posted. I’ve banked your promises in the vault of my heart so I won’t sin myself bankrupt. Be blessed, God; train me in your ways of wise living. — Psalm 119:9-12 (MSG) In order to live wisely, we need to read and navigate our lives based on the map of God’s Word. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. (Joshua 1:8 NLT) Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil. — Psalm 119:133 (NLT)

Turn to the Living God

Image
“… and we are proclaiming good news to you, that you turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. ” — Acts 14:15 (CSB) Let us turn to the living God, at all times and in every situation. Anything we hold more dear in our hearts than our heavenly Father is an idol, a worthless thing. Count it all rubbish! Acts 14:17 (CSB) goes on to say, “ God did what is good by giving you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons and filling you with food and your hearts with joy. ” Our heavenly Father is a good God. He is not a deadbeat dad or an absentee father. He is with us always. Psalm 37:23b (NLT) says, He delights in every detail of our lives. Enjoy your fruitful seasons in His Presence. Open your heart to Him that He may fill it with everlasting joy. Cast all your cares and concerns on Him because He cares about you with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully. (1Peter 5:7)

Consider it All Joy!

Image
“… And do not be worried, for the joy of the LORD is your strength and your stronghold. ” — Nehemiah 8:10b (AMP) Time spent worrying is wasted time, and it weakens your faith. However, we remain strong when we hold onto the joy of the LORD. Jesus said, “ The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. ” (John 10:10 NASB) The enemy is always looking for an opportunity to steal your joy. If he steals your joy, he can kill your hope and destroy lives. Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, (James 1:2 NASB)

Patiently Endure

Image
In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind. We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. — 2 Corinthians 6:4-5 (NLT) Like the Apostle Paul, we will endure troubles, hardships and calamities, however we can take comfort in the fact that God is with us, and nothing is too difficult for Him. The Holy Spirit who dwells within us empowers us to walk in the victory Jesus has already obtained for us. And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28 AMP)

Recognize His Call

Image
When he has brought all his own sheep outside, he walks on ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice and recognize his call . — John 10:4 (AMP) In light of all this, here’s what I want you to do. While I’m locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences. (Ephesians 4:1-6 MSG) Amen! …I urge you: Live a life that is worthy of the calling He has graciously extended to you. — Ephesians 4:1 (VOICE)
