Just a Touch

Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
Mark 5:25-29 (NKJ)

Some days I feel like this woman, just pushing through everything that crowds around me in the course of a busy day, trying to grasp onto the hem of the Lord's robe. I know once I make that divine connection and tap into the unlimited resources of Jesus, I will be made whole and all will be well with my soul.

Like this woman, we suffer much in this world and sometimes things only seem to get worse, but Jesus said, “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world,” (John 16:33, NLT). Press in and make contact with our great Physician today. You too will be healed of your afflictions.
