He is with You!

And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, “The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!” Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us?” —Judges 6:12-13a (NKJV)

Have you ever felt like Gideon and wondered, if God is with you, why is all this “stuff” happening to you? You can be certain that God is with you, because He said, He would never leave you or forsake you and our God is faithful. Let us remember that our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So fix your eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18, NIV). Surely God will be with you and you shall defeat your enemies (Judges 6:16).
