Shield of Victory

You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me;
you stoop down to make me great.
Psalm 18:35 (NIV)

God gives us His shield of victory. Ephesians 6:16 says we are to take up the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. The devil wants to take us out but we can stop everything he brings against us with God's shield of victory. Our faith is our defense. Through faith we are shielded by God's power (1 Peter 1:5). When we believe God, we take refuge in Him and He becomes our impenetrable shield (2 Samuel 22:31). Praise God!
