Pleasure in Our Prosperity
Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” —Psalm 35:27 (NKJV)
Our Heavenly Father has pleasure in the prosperity of His people. Prosperity is a all around state of well-being. It encompasses peace, good health, success in relationships, family and business, as well as wealth. John 10:10 says, Jesus came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly. He desires that we always have all sufficiency in all things, so we can have an abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. —3 John 1:2 (NKJV)
