Sacrifice & Service
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. —Romans 12:1 (NKJV)
In view of all the mercies and compassions of God, the Apostle Paul pleads with believers to make a decisive dedication of their bodies to God. Let us serve and worship our God, in this manner of being fully committed, —giving our all to accomplish His purpose in our lives.
This Memorial Day, may we honor all of the military men and women, past and present, who daily sacrifice their lives in service to our country. Whether it was giving your lives on the battlefield, suffering wounds and injuries or sacrificing precious time away from your loved ones for training and deployments, we “Thank You” for all you do to ensure our freedom and safety.
