He Never Fails

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? —Numbers 23:19 (NLT)

God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). If He has spoken it, He shall bring it to pass. You can stand on His Word and all of the wonderful promises it contains. After Abraham had patiently endured, he obtained the promise, in the miraculous birth of Isaac (Hebrews 6:15). Indeed, we count them blessed who endure (James 5:11). God does not show personal favoritism. We too shall receive what was promised, through our obedience, and patient perseverance. As He has spoken, so it shall be!

Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
