New Power

With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death. —Romans 8:1-2 (MSG)

Your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:5 NKJV). Come out from under the dark cloud of sin and death and live free in the light of the Lord. The same power that raised Christ from the grave, is at work in those who believe. His power breaks bondages and destroys strongholds. It releases shackles and declares victory or sin and death. It triumphs over the trials and tribulations of this life.

Turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that you may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus. (Acts 26:18)

Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you. Then the king gave orders, and Daniel was brought in and cast into the lions’ den.
